~*~LovesLostCat~*~ (I'm Really Beginning to hate my pen name, but I don't want to change it now...)
23/05/04 Woohoo!! I did an IQ test last night and it is now 150!!!! I could soooo be in mensa, but you have to pay, they can shove that lol!!
19/05/04 Horray!! It's been exactly a month since I wrote my very first poem!! Well I guess it's not that exciting really... Oh well.. Yippie For Me!!
17/5/04 - I think that my poems have gotten better as I write, I don't know if that's saying much, but I think I have learnt loads about writing from reading other stuff on here. Thanks for the inspiration guys!! LOL
Would you believe it, I have only been writing poetry for just under a month... Explains the fact it's not very good, well I sometimes think it is, then I read other peoples stuff and I think, 'ok, so shall I bother anymore...'
I hate it in school when they want you to study poems and look and see what every line and word means and why it's put there, I honestly think no poet sits down and thinks 'ok so today my hidden meanings are going to be...' I mean I sometimes put certain lines in a certain place to mean something, but poetry is not to be analised but simply appriciated as it is and see what each poem means to you, regardless of what it meant to the writer, because not everyone sees things in the same way. Schools should let us use our own opinions more, not just copy others.
That was a Cat Rant, wasn't it fun?
15/5/04 Wow watching VH1 (yes I am a loser) it's been 30 years of ABBA, wow how they make my life complete!!
I have recently developed the biggest obsession with getting a tattoo... The mother is against it but I say what she doesn't know wont hurt her, too bad I have no money for one (/two/tree teehee) :( *sob*
10/5/04 - When people look through this page they only ever seem to review the last few things I did, I just read some stuff I forgot I wrote, and I think it's better than lots of stuff I have recently done, oh well rambling again :s
7.53 7/5/04 - Gosh I keep seeing that people are writing these really long stories and I wish I could actually be patient enough to sit down and write one, I always have ideas buzzing around in my head (for films mainly) stories/novels I always begin but NEVER finish, I keep finding random working progresses that I just forgot all about. Oh crazy me. If you want proof read 'Blind' that has an ok beginning but I could to with continuing that...Oh well maybe some day hey... Poems are so easy they are nice and short and take about two seconds to write, well mine do anyway... so that explains why they're so rubish, I knew there was a reason, *slaps foredead* Duh!!
8.58 2/5/04 - I just had a look and so far today 227 life poems have been submitted, gosh people write a lot, makes me wonder how I ever got reviewd, so I just want to say thanks to everyone that has, you picked me out of a big bunch, lol.
RANDOM: Hello, tis 7,13 of the 2nd of May 2004 and as I sit here typing I wonder what the hell I am doing. I think I may have gone mad and that that could be a good thing. Just in case you want to know I have just written the rest of Scene 2 for my play 'Ladies That Lunch', please review it as play/film writing is my favourite form of writing and would like to know how I am doing... If you don't find it funny then obviously you have no sense of humour and wouldn't know funny if it hit you in the face with a big fish lol personally I like it, its simplicity and sublte humour is just what I like in plays. But then hey, you may be thinking 'Play? what the hell is a play? does it have guns in it?', well sorry to ruin that for you, but no, sadly. I think this play contains some of my humour that I find when writing and less when actually speaking to people, weird I suppose. It so far it does have an end, but not much of a middle so I shall have to keep working on it, but there is only so much you can write when most of the time it is only two women sitting in a cafe for lunch, which personally is what I like most about it, it's the content language you need to listen to, instead of being over impressed by fancy images. Oh well I am talking to long about something you may think is really crap. But please feel free to r+r any of my stuff, it's mosty very different, I hate sticking to just one genre, gets boring after a while.
Oh well
For now,
Much Love
Cat
ps. I climbed a mountain today, woohoo, good training for my expedition. Also OMG I got my hair cut yesturday, it;s very short bob style with lots of layers, I still don't know if I like it.

Not that there is anything wrong with England of course it must be good as I was born in devon, ooh i moved from the land of farmers to the land of sheep, they follow me i dont follow them, honest! School sucks but my friends make it fun.
Oh and by the way, I personally am not gay though loads of people (including my family) think I am. Just because I am a believer in gay rights and love Ian Mckellen with a passion, that doesn't make me gay. Just like liking rasberries doesn't make me a rasberry. Sorry crap analogy there, but still you may undertsand what I mean.. hopefully.

Saying - God I have so many, some I make up and some i take from different things (generally changing the words) One of my fave things to do at the moment is to speak song lyrics to people, don't ask why it's just fun! Right now I love to say to people: 'If you squeeze a cow you get cheese if you squeeze hard enough you get the beefs'

Hates*
'Popular People' - (or as I call them 'The Clones') though I have to admit I am freinds with some, but not the super annoying ones, ew no.
* People you are all oh I dress/act this way because I don't want to fit in or be popular, when they only do it for the attention anyway, how annoying.
* Stupid people - people who are just soooo annyoingly stupid and have no common sense, arrghhh I can think of little worse.
* Pop/rap/urban/dance etc Music - Need I explain?
* Teen Fiction Novels - Do any teenagers actually act like the ones in the books? nope, do we have lives like that? nope. I hate adults writing from a 'modern day' teenage perspective, it very rarely comes out well, with the exeption of 'Harry Potter' but then they made crappy 'Harry Potter' films which takes me to...
* Books made to film which just don't work - Including most Steven King novels and the 'Harry Potter' series, god how many bad actors can one film have, that meaning the child actors, the adults in the film are all very good, just badly casted I feel.
* Romantic Comedies - with the exeption of 'love Actually', 'About A Boy' and 'Notting Hill', as they had original scripts, just about, maybe, well better than most rom coms anyway.
* Our culture, people in general, we live in a world powered by greed over something that doesn;t actually truly exist - Money.
* School - Too much pressure, they should try and make school more enjoyable and less stressful, perhaps get rid of uniforms, yes?
* People who judge people on how much money they have or what they own, if many material things make you a better person then I must be one of the worst people ever.
* Crappy bands doing covers of amazing songs - Blazin Squad, doing a cover of Children of the Revolution, all I can say is 'No!' Though some covers can be ok, but, oh god I just remembered Joss Stone's cover of 'Fell In Love With A Girl', pitiful, just pitiful.
* People who leaves vowels out of words when speaking, they're there for a reason you know.
* People on when finding out that I am Welsh ask me to 'Say that really long place name!!', NO! OK I don't even know it so if I wanted to say it to you I couldn't!
You may have come to the conclusion that I hate most things, and I do, but really in the world we live in it's hard not to. Hate is good for your health, just like lust. ;) Gets your heart pumping ;)
I have many strange quirks, my biggest probably being that my biggest fear is of wrists, yes wrists, I can't look at any, even my own, and i most definately couldn't see a film with wrist slashing in, ewwww don't go there!!
I also have a fear of inanimate objects coming to life, i scare myself just thining about it, imagine a tv and when you pull the plug it stays on, there is nothing scarier than, unless if on the screen was scary wrists. OMG just imagine ahhhh!!! And dolls, don't even get me started on dolls, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! scary, esp the living dead dolls you can get from 'Blue Banana' they are soo scary!!
I enjoy writing more than reading, which i suppose is odd, and I never have any idea where I get my inspiration from. Mostly I enjoy writing films and plays. If i ever where to have a career it would hopefully be as a actor/director/writer, woohoo three paychecks!
I love watching films, listening to music, making up songs with my friend Nia for our non existant band 'Sprout' (don't ask) hanging around with my buddies in and out of school, in school making fun of the teachers and the 'Uggos' (lol) and trying not get told off not doing homework AHHH this includes coursework, outside of school in the winter I generally go to town, get a meal deal from boots (which i swear have gone up in price) then to the cinema where we watch any ranodm film as we eat. In the summer me and all my buddies go to bute park where we laugh and play random ball, the game with no rules, just fierce competition!!! sometimes they wont let me play volly ball because I run away from the ball, so i have to stand there and pretend to be a net, it hurts sometimes, mentally and physically :(
He he My life is very dull really as there is nothing much to do here apart from go to the cinema and climb hills/mountains (both of which i do do) ha ha ha I am a loser, oh well there's nothing I can do about that.
Here's a list of some of the best films ever made(in my opinion) in no particular order...
The Yellow Submarine
But I'm A Cheerleader (watch it watch it now!!)
The Fith Element
The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy
The Matrix (the first one and ONLY the first one)
The Wedding singer
Dirty Pretty things
The Good Girl
Shaun of the dead (funny as)

Four Feathers (the lastest one which got no credit but it should have it was amazing!!)
Velvet Goldmine (OMG this is the most amazing film EVER!! If you haven't seen it go out and rent it, or better yet buy it. It is sooo amazing you can't not like it!!!!!!!!!)
Romy and michelle's high school reunion (omg this film is soooo amazing woohoo)
The Englishman who went up a hill but came down a mountain
X-Men (1+2 and soon to be 3!!!)
Fried Green Tomatoes at the whislte stop cafe
Some of the best books ever are:
The Shining - Steven King
Whitch Child - Celia Rees
Not The End Of The World - Kate Atkinson
The Lord Of The Flies - William Golding
The Gruffalo - ?
All the Harry Potter books - J.K Rowling (esp the third one that's my fave I have read it three times once in only a day)
The Twits - Roald Dahl
Matilda - Roald Dahl
James and the giant peach - Roald Dahl
Cool Music is:
Most stuff from the 60's, 70's and 80's some suff in the 90's then it just went down hill from there... 80's electro-pop rocks and no not hate it for without it the world would be a much sadder and scarier place.
BTW. I like to think that Britain invented 'Rock Music' and I think that is true, but then CRAZY THOUGHT, Britain used to be the most powerful country in the world... what happened.. oh yeah world war two, forgot about that tiny detail.
Fantastic Bands/musicians are:
The Vines, The Strokes, The White Stripes, The Jam, Placebo, Kings Of Leon, Queen, Oasis, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, PJ Harvey, Led Zeplin, Blur, Queens of the stone age, Beck, Kate Bush, Blondie, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Blur, Flaming Lips, Nelly Futardo (odd amongst this collection, you may think), Garbage, Green Day, Janes Addiction, Madonna, Marilyn Manson, Maroon 5, Peaches, Sex Pistols, Travis, Tenacious D, Pixies, ABBA! Auf Der Maur, Electric Six, Aerosmith, T Rex, Franz Ferdinand, Massive Attack, JJ72 and probably more...
Other Good Films:
About a boy, Blow dry, But I'm a cheerleader, Calendar Girls, chicago, chocolat, the fifth element, galaxy quest, a knights tale, james and the giant peach (David thewelis as the earthworm, wow!!) Lord of the rings (all three), love actually (alan rickman films appear a lot u may notice) The matrix (only the first one!!) Pirates etc, Romy and michelle's high school reunion, x-men 1+2, an american tale, Deep impact, Billy elliot, fly away home, Jurassic park (dont judge me!), a little princess, made in america, shaun of the dead, Dirty pretty things, The good girl, the yellow submarine, four feathers, in america, velvet goldmine, meet joe black, the wedding singer, shrek, ice age, sliding doors, buffalo soldiers, Eternal Sunshine of the spotless Mind... etc etc etc
I mainly like drama films with crazy twists in them, and interesting endings, i generally hate romantic comedies because really they are all just the same film over and over and over again, take sleepless in seatle and you've got mail for example, they are the same film, twice, with the same lead actors!!! Anything new and different is what I like, just like me lol.
Other Good Quotes:
'I'm just a manic depressive waiting to happen' - me
'Ugly people should just deal with it and put a bag on their head' - me
'I feel violated, and not in a good way' - Chandler 'Friends'
'I'm a lesbian' - But I'm A Cheerleader
'We are the people who clean your rooms, drive your taxis and suck your cocks' - Dirty Pretty Things (I may have gotten that slighty wrong but you get the jist of it)
'You stole my swahili, first prize, tap danicng trophie, it even has my name on in swahili, 'Crayola'' - Me (I wanted this pencil my friend had found)
'Everyday is a new beginning, of and end' - Me (I just came up with that, see I'm quick)
'Get out of my house' - Me (funny because I only ever say it when I am not in my house)
'Get out of my swamp' - My friend Nia (If you wish to know more about her then read the poem I wrote for her)
'5 o'clock' - Nia's answer to 'what time is it?' no matter what the time is.
'Hollywood, the land of eating dissorders' - Me
'Rhywiol Heeling' - Me (sung to the tune of 'sexual heeling' or whatever that crap song is called) it came about because my welsh teacher was to have us believe that rhywiol means sexy for when we describe someone, however someone I know who speaks welsh told me it actually means sexual, so my welsh teacher had us all saying '(name) is sexual' creepy as I think.
'You Stink Of Horse' - Saruman (Lord Of The Rings The Two Towers Special Edition) that made me laugh when he said it, don't ask why.
'Rhwyia Fi?'you can guess what that means.
'If you squeeze a cow you get cheese, if you squeeze it hard enough you get the beefs' - Me, I said it to my friend vicki, we both have an obsession with cheese!
'Every day another page, every year another chapter, every life another novel' - Me, It came to me last night just before I went to sleep. (7/01/04) *That being the 7th of May to all you Americans who write your month before ur days, you crazy people! LOL
(I will add more of mine and my friends crazy quotes when I can think of them)
People that totally rock my world are - Vimmy, Nig, Sophaz, Newingface + KayKay (Woops Sophie's the only one I haven't written a poem about! I may get on to that in the near future...)
I have many other friends too who may be angry I haven't mentioned them but I thought I would mention these as they rock it the most and they are the only people who I have shown my poems etc to. KayKay writes stuff also her penname being asscake. Nig is an amazing song writer, she esp likes writing songs about QT and Uma Therman!! If you want to see some of our songs then look them up on and search 'Sprout'. But please if you write a comment on there pretend they are a real band or they may be removed. DUH DUH DUH!!!
My sarcasm and insane manic depression is my life, I have to love it and enjoy the pain as it gives me my inspiration to write, which is my tool to clam my tormented soul (lol I told you I was funny)
I am very, very strange and perhaps should be locked away in the funny farm, they're coming to take me away HA HA!!! (What an amazing song!!)
I don't half ramble on do I? sorry I just find it very easy to type a lot... Here I go again, STOP!! JUST STOP CATHERINE!! OK...
