I am a black male, 49 years old. My family has been through many hard times, as have I. I currently live in Rockingham, North Carolina. I grew up in the Bronx, things weren't easy. I do not hate the white man although I may write many things about him.

My mother and Father were both born into slavery. My Grandfather on my Father's side was of the upperclass slaves, he fell in love with my Grandmother, who belonged to the same plantation. When my father was born no sympathy was shown and he was sold off at the age of 6. My Grandfather died April 30th 1978. Leaving my Grandmother alone, who soon died 3 years after.

My mother and father were released from slavery at the ages of 9 and 11. I was born 9 years later.
