Author has written 23 stories for Supernatural, General, Mythology, Nature, General, Spiritual, Love, Young Adult, Fable, Romance, Fantasy, and Essay.
I have been a member of FictionPress for many years and after a long hiatus caused by college I finally have some free time to myself (albeit very little).
I happen to be a physics teacher at a high school in Texas, but that has very little influence on what I write.
As the laws of courtesy require: if you review one of my stories, I will review one of yours. The more critical and analyzing the better!
I have no doubt that the poetry is trite, but I've left some of it up anyway. And I also have no doubt that whatever I've written before 2010 had the amateurish qualities of a high school student. Hopefully the new decade and experiences I've had since I've last written have increased my skills and not just my age.
I do have a tendency to be very critical in my reviews, but that is only because I would want others to be as critical to me. I try not to offend or insult, but just state potential flaws as I see them.
Currently Working On:
From the Heart of a High School Science Teacher: As the AN in the first chapter hints at, there should be quite a few of those essays.
A Writer's Workshop
Unforeseen: A work based on the myth of Psyche and Eros which I am debating putting on FP...
"Criticism, like rain, should be gentle enough to nourish a man's growth without destroying his roots. "
GOOD WRITERS spend:
85% of their time on prewriting
AVERAGE/LESSER ABILITY writers spend:
almost NO time on prewriting
(Presumably I'm only a middling writer then...)
