Author has written 4 stories for Fantasy, and Sci-Fi. 05/07/08 The Marquis de Carabas is my hero. . . followed closely by Mr. Vandemar. . . Life: My computer was broken for like 2 months but now I have a new one. . . It looks like Optimus Prime. . . I haven't written anything for a million years and I didn't wanna write anything on paper for fear of veering off in the wrong directions with my stories. Hopefully they didn't die terrible deaths somewhere in the back of my mind for the last couple months, and I'll be back writing, sort of kind of regularily once more. Still working 5 days a week so spare time often ends up with my just collapsing on the couch and vegging out until I realize how late it is and that I have to wake up early the next day to make it to work on time. . . Oh GOD, I hope people will still read my stories. . . O_O' Stories: Alyss A fantasy, inspired by a good many different things but most of all by Alice in Wonderland. Orchid A sci-fi, inspired by a dream I had. May end up kind of like Blade Runner or a William Gibson novel . . . or X-Men. . . Evolution Blip A sci-fi - vampire short story in which I try to steer away from the cliche's that are hated so much by some readers that they think it gives them the right to flame authors just for typing the word "vampire". . . Do please enjoy! Faves: Well since X-mas I have a bunch of new books added to my collection, including a new Neil Gaiman book, Interworld which I'm uber excited about. But as usual I'm reading a multitude of books at the same time. Some of which include Watership Down (which I love by the way, I've got a rabbit obsession), Spook Country by William Gibson, Harry Potter, The Dark Tower and the Watches series by Stephen King and Sergie Lukyanenko, and many many more. There are a couple songs I've been listening to on a loop: Kiri by Monoral (from the anime Ergo Proxy), Close Call by Rilo Kiley, and I'll Keep Your Memory Vague by Finger Eleven. Speaking of Ergo Proxy, there's a kind of original anime concept . . . kind of. It's very cyberpunk at the beginning which was originally why I became interested in it. The director from Witch Hunter Robin, and another feller who worked on Samurai Champloo teamed up to make it so over all the quality is top notch, but around the end of thes series I felt it drifted a little out of the realm of Sci-Fi/Cyberpunk and more into a fantasy kind of theme. I still really liked though. Last movie I saw in theatres was Cloverfield which was diappointing in many ways but I'm still not sure whether I like it or hate it. . . It did make me sick. . .vomit. My latest addition to my western collection was Pale Rider. I need me some more Clint though. . . But for that I also need me some more money. . .Favorite fanfic is still Something Better by Dreamflight. |
