My name's Rachel, and welcome to my little place on Fictionpress. Here you will find my (outdated) poetry and one of my old original fictions. Unfortunately, I haven't had much time to write any new poems, so you can't really see what I'm thinking/wanting to write about now, so yes. I guess that's what I get for trying to put off my schoolwork, hmm? Silly me.
Well, read if you wish and leave me a quick review. This stuff's old enough, I can take whatever you want to say about it. Go wild and express your anger through a review! You can do it! (Lol.)
Psst! If you want a more thorough list of my writings go here. It's my livejournal account and it lists nearly all of my writings to date. (The exceptions being the ones that I've left in various notebooks...)
The only way you can write the truth is to assume that what you set down will never be read. Not by any other person, and not even by yourself at some later date. Otherwise you begin excusing yourself.
"For there are only two worlds...your world, which is the real world, and the other worlds, the fantasy. Worlds like this are worlds of the human imagination; their reality, or lack of reality, is not important. What is important is that they are there. These worlds provide an alternative, provide an escape. Provide a threat. Provide a dream, and a power, provide refuge and pain. They give your world meaning. They do not exist; and thus they are all that matters."
