Author has written 1 story for Young Adult. Hi--we're James and Edie. We wrote each other's bios, and are still arguing about them. James is a college sophomore who tends to be lots more well-behaved and good-natured than his female counterpart; he also owns a Diana Ross CD. He's not particularly descriptive, but is determined and excellent at keeping a story moving. He plans to major in screenwriting and move to Los Angeles at some point to join the herd and be like everyone else in LA who are trying to break into showbiz. He has also allowed Edie to put make-up on him on several occasions, and looks fantastic in black eyeliner. If you want to go out with him, that can be arranged; the boy hasn't had a date in six months. Edie is a senior in high school, and describes herself as "a mess in lipstick -- NA, AA, all that, but then again everyone's into that," and has recently discovered feminism. She has an alternate username on fictionpress for her moody, violent, edgy, hypersexual (much like the author herself) poetry, and tends to have a very descriptive style of writing. Her characters and ideas are plentiful and usually very unique. Unfortunately, she is physically incapable of finishing anything she starts, but wants to try writing a complete story at some point soon so that she can try to make a living from it. She treats her boyfriends horribly, is cuter than the average discontent teenager, and spends too much time on her hair. We may be uninteresting, but the stories aren't: read on, stranger. James's Tangled Up in You is being reworked because it does, indeed, suck; Edie's Another Unsolved Problem is now over here from her old name, so that she can have that one be exclusively poetry. ETA: Neither of us have an issue with RainShadow2005. We like her story; that's why it got reviewed. Stories that are terrible generally get ignored. |
