![]() Author has written 13 stories for Mythology, Action, and Supernatural. "Aim High in Life, but Watch out for Flying Boxes." I have a blog now. Camelot's Library where I review my extensive collection of Arthurian retellings. I also have a tumblr, StorytellerKnight. Feel free to follow or come say hi over there. The Heart of Camelot (Deleted) Just over two years after finishing Heart of Camelot, I have decided to take it down. I've long loathed the beginning of the book, but the ending was something special and worth sharing. I thought about keeping the ending up and deleting the beginning, but there is some good stuff in the early chapters and some of the emotional weight of the later chapters would be lost without that setup. So I left the whole book up. But now I'm just not at a point where I'm comfortable with people reading the early chapters. It's time to move on from Heart. Some real distance from the story might give me the space I need to start editing. Or to start working on other Arthurian projects without feeling guilty about this one hanging in such a state of disarray. I'm leaving up Soul of Camelot, the sequel, for now, although it too might go soon. I just don't know. I'll see how I feel going forward, but right now most of my attention is on the Cat's-Eye series as I finish up the sixth book and begin work on the last two. Thanks for everyone who read and reviewed Heart over the years. You guys were all great and I owe you so much. I never would have finished Heart without you. I do apologize if you were in the middle of reading when I decided to pull it. If you're dying to know what happens next, PM me and maybe we can figure something out. (Complete) About a year ago I was talking with SamoaPhoenix and another friend about the rash of vampire/paranormal romance novels and made the complaint that the vampire is always male and the human is always female. I'm also not much of a fan of the vampire/human romance, so I decided to write a paranomal crime series with the female as the vampire and the male as the human with no romance. I'm really looking forward to the world building with this one along with the challenge of showing the world as the vampires see them. |
