I've always enjoyed reading and writing poetry but until recently, I had grown apart from it for quite a while. Poetry has always been an easy way for me to express my thoughts and feelings and I found the need to do such again lately. Writing songs on the guitar don't always have quite the same appeal as the raw emotions that I feel poetry can only express correctly. Poetry is a private means for me to express myself and I've only truly introduced one person to my poetry in real life. Unfortunately, due to this, I will probably no longer introduce anyone I know to this side of me, but I do very much appreciate everyone's reviews and criticism and encourage you to say whatever it is you feel about my poetry to me. I may begin writing and posting material more frequently now that I find myself needing to keep myself occupied and the need to express myself as well.
