Author has written 33 stories for Family, Fantasy, Essay, Horror, Fantasy, General, Sci-Fi, Young Adult, General, Friendship, Life, Nature, Haiku, and War.

NEW: My main novel, which has been under construction for some 6 years now, is NOW FEATURED ON THIS SITE! It's not completed so not all of it is up but you'll find it under 'Time and Chaos,' a title which really needs to be changed too -.-
--

NEWEST STORY: A Demon's Ashes. I kind've like it... first time I've had a chance to write in an evil MC. Give it a prod and see what you think about it.

NEWEST POEM: Counting (or Coming Home from War). Powerful lil piece I just wrote. it's about the war. read it. slaughter it. thankee.

WARNING: Switches between scenes in my EARLIEST stories (primarily BoW 1) were originally indicated by a line of * stars; however, upon upload, they have all disappeared. I have not yet had the energy, motivation, or time to go through and fix them all so that they can be easily read, so now they seem scattered and incoherent.

Stuff about me:

I write fantasy. High fantasy. The stories featured here are things that I consider 'good enough' for human review.

Yeah, except for some of the short stories. I don't have a lot of them so I just put up what I could find. Some of this is from... high school. Which was... a great number of years ago. So it's pretty bad.

Some of the novels are from National Novel Writing Month novels. If you've never participated in NaNoWriMo, you should. It's vivid and insane all at once, and at the end of the month there's a glorious rush of satisfaction. See http:// for more details

I also write a fair number of short stories and essays--most of those are ancient beyond comprehension so they're not very good. Ah well.

My Writing Buddies:
Just two so far.

Skyra: Also known as a goddess come to rescue me from the inner confines of my desperately lonely and radiant soul with her brilliance, luminosity, and beauty. Read her writing. It's bleeping good.

and Starknight: I hope sometime in the future you'll have beautiful dreams.

Dear Readers:

Feel free to contact me; pref is by MSN, my name there is tasiha_AThotmailDOTcom... yes, that's two underscores, an @ and a . to replace the typed caps; this keeps the spambots off my back. ~flails ninja swords at the spambots~

Feel free to rip my stories apart.

Feel free to sink your teeth into my poetry as well, although in that I am less likely to be concerned with your opinion, since everyone writes and sees poetry in different ways.

--
Another note: I don't give wussy reviews; I don't give those one liners 'wow that was good' in hopes that you'll review my work now that I mentioned my name in the vicinity of yours. I don't waste my time like that.

When I write a review, I write a REVIEW! I point out things I don't like, things I find awkward, things that don't make sense, questions I am left with; I also point out things I felt were strong or positive. I offer suggestions for improvement. I will comment on your poor grammar if you so choose to use it; I will not ignore it. Many people say it is unimportant, but many people are wrong. Errors in grammar and spelling distract the reader. And the last thing you want is a bored reader (after all, your job is to interest them!).

I might review upon request; probably not. I am a very busy person. I have a job and I have classes. Still, it's worth a try. Please IM me at the MSN name given above if you want to request a review. Emails are too remote. Thanks!

So, you want to know something about me? OTHER than my writing?

Blah. I'm not going to tell you. Neener neener, personal information on the internet, blah blah blah.

All right, I will say this: I am a physics major. I love writing, reading, sleeping, yoga, karate (though I'm not good at either), and daydreaming (which I excel at). I am an editor at heart and have a love for the English language, but I also speak Spanish (though not nearly as well).

My favorite authors are, in no particular order, Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, Laurie R. King, Patricia C. Wrede, Anne McCaffery, Tamora Pierce, and Albert Einstein. I also enjoy Woman at Point Zero by Nawal el-Sa'adawi, and Shakespeare (Macbeth and Midsummer Night's Dream).

For writing music, I listen to Evanescence, Josh Groban, Faire Celts, Transiberian Orchestra of all types, and Van Helsing, LotR, Lion King, and Bourne soundtracks; I like most modern pop and rock music, and the good popular 80s and 90s stuff, maybe even some 70s (though I consider it a bit wishy-washy). I will ALWAYS sing aloud to Hallelujah by Rufus Wainwright, and I also love Mozart, Beethoven, and Tchaikovsky. I used to be in a choir but no longer; I have never played a music instrument in my life (but I can pick out the first few notes of Fur Elise on the piano).

A side note on Nanowrimo: Book of Sun, Book of Whispers: Part 1 and Book of Whispers: The Next Tale (as well as Book of Whispers: IN SHORT) have all stemmed from this one site: http://

Basically, November is National Novel Writing Month, so every November as part of the site at the above link, I try to write 50,000 words in 30 days. And YE gods is it fun!
