It's hard to explain this poem without telling you a very long confusing story... so lets just say despite the sad parts, the story ended with a happy ending, just as the poem suggests.

Breaking The News
I wrote this for my first proper boyfriend, when we grew apart after high school. I never gave it to him, but it helped me to write about my feelings. I think this poem is sad, but I like how it ends.
