Author has written 10 stories for Romance, Fantasy, Life, General, and Spiritual.

January 2009:

News: Several months ago my computer crashed and I lost my entire Seeing Through Tears file, including the last chapter that has taken me forever. Needless to say, I was absolutely heartbroken. I was pretty close to finishing the chapter too. I also lost all the new revisions for the chapters that I have already posted on web. So at the moment I'm revising, copy editing and proofreading. I'm also starting to re-write the next chapter!

This is why:

Even more October News: I’m in school right now, and I’m in a program called Print Futures: Professional Writing. Yes, i am going to school to learn how to be a writer by profession. I’m taking editing courses, and writers block is no longer an option for me. I’m applying this to my book writing as well (STT). I’m very excited about the course. It’s a lot of work, but it’s worth it!

Final word of October(so far): Mean while, please keep reviewing. They really are encouraging. Cookie Cutter Popstar gave me a really long, detailed review of STT and it compelled me to write, despite the long midterm stressed week I've been having, and the daunting list of homework. I love long reviews, just tell me what you like about the story - the characters: how they interact, do they relate to you, bother you, or the plot, or what you what to know about. don't be afraid to let me know what you want to know. I'll write it in sometime!

About me: My best friend accuses me of being a walking contradiction. I suppose she’s right. For instance, I can be really shy and timid one moment, and then ten minutes later, I’ll be singing something like the Ramones on the sky train. “twenty-twenty four hours ago, I wanna be sedated…” (Or some other random strange antic.) I’m a genuinely happy person, but I listen to a lot of music that… is the opposite of that? Yeah. That’s cool. I’m a quite odd, and I’d never change that. I love God. I see God working in my life every day. He’s always on my mind and I’m always talking to him. It’s awesome. Everyday I discover more and more of God and every day I fall more and more in love with God. I love writing. I’d say I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to it, but nothing I write is ever to my absolute satisfactory – so I just try to be a perfectionist.

I find that my heart goes out to women who… have not yet learned of their true beauty. It’s what makes me righteously angry. The way the world makes it seem like our beauty must be evaluated by how much we weigh, how social we can be, or how radiant our faces shine just isn’t bloody right. What makes me even more upset is that women actually fall for it. We do not need some one else to know that we our beautiful. And no, I’m not a feminist. I have nothing against men (are you kidding? I LOVE men. Haha). I just want my fellow sisters to know that they are beautiful the way they are, and that they are loved. So my writing usually directs towards this. End of that story.

What I’m up to: Right now I’m working on a number of things. I’m going to school, taking a program for Professional Writing. I’m a leader at a youth church called Primal, at my church: Christian City Church Vancouver. I’m improving my guitar skills, and trying to launch worship at Primal, as a one woman band, but I’m also going to band practice with Beyond Sunday, because one day, I will be playing with them. I also work in a Bakery/deli. And I also make time to do writing that isn’t related to school.

Music taste snippet: the Dear and Departed, Flogging Molly, HIM, Atreyu, Aidien, The 69 Eyes, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Avenged Sevenfold, The blood Brothers, Taking Back Sunday, Familly Force Five, The Bleeding Alarm, Stutter Fly, MSI, AFI, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Breaking Benjamin, The Beatles, Funeral for a friend, Demon Hunter and many, many more... Absolute favorite songs that I'm in love with at the moment: The 69 Eyes- Beneath The Blue, Depeche Mode- Enjoy the Silence.

There’s an amazing writer I’d like to recognize, who goes by the pen name E. 'Erroneous' Szydloski. She helped me a lotwith mywriting and the value of a story, and I wouldn’t be anywhere near my writing skills today if it weren’t for her support. She’s written an awesome story called The White Flame, and I recommend you go check it out at elfwood. http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/libr/s/z/szydloski/szydloski.html

There’s also another writer on elfwood that does amazing work who goes by the pen name Becca Lusher. Go read her stories too! http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/libr/b/e/bexlusher/bexlusher.html

Here are a few stories I plan on working on in the future. Feel free to let me know what you think of the upcoming stories!

Captain Crash: I just wanted to warn you not to look out my bedroom window unless you’re prepared to be befuddled. My new neighbor is out in my front yard, wearing a pirate hat and digging through my recycling bin.

Hot Buns: “And so, because I was declared ‘most likely to write a story about working in an IGA bakery’, I only found it fitting that I should do so.” The story has to do with a very strange, spunky girl who works in a bakery in a grocery store run by crazy people. I’m basically just putting together all the funny events that have happened at work, along with some good fiction, into a relatively short story. I think there will probably be 5 chapters, or, ‘episodes’ to it

Doubting Thomas- dedicated to an amazing friend, Sisi- Sierra Noelle Young: February 3, 1988- October 24, 2002. A girl blinded by the ideas of a corrupt church, looses one of her best friends to suicide. Seeing things as only black and white, she spits on the idea of God and turns a 180 to hatred, self pity, and loathing of the world, and surprisingly, the last person she ever expects shows her that not everything is meant to be read on the lines, or black and white. He’s the last person she ever expected to save her from completely falling away from God.

Poetic Eternity: I knew form the very first time I met his gaze that he had to at least think something of me. I’d consider that a personal accomplishment, considering not only are most people unable to notice when I enter a room, they rarely even recognize when I’m speaking to them.
