a short poem i wrote a little while ago.

It’s dark, but dim lights illuminate your face and the goofy grin on mine. My hand in yours feels so secure. Nothing will happen as long as I’m here locked in your embrace.

And it scares me at what I don't see...

bare hearts get pricked too, don't you agree?

I dreamt last night that you kissed me with a mouth full of seashells.

I fall asleep in between your hot and sticky thighs.

it's only a metaphor for her heart.

Dance and it will join me. An elegant waltz on slender dreams.

Ah, to picture a broken heart. We wish not to live it, but some are forced to, this is for all of you who've had a broken heart, and for those of you who wish not to.

Honey child dipped in sizzling tomato grease.

The sunset is a dying flame in my rearview mirror.

I mirror my desire like some sparling dimple in a black glitter filled sky.

I wrap my legs around your centerfold.

And she’s in my bed again./Legs all tangled up again./She smells likes skin and sweat again./Was it good for you too? I nod./Is this okay? She asks./Sure. It’s okay./But it’s not okay./I still love you. Read and review.

It wasn’t that she didn’t love him or even that she did, it was that he would forgive her, and that’s why she i was leaving him. He told her he’d write a novel about her and he was afraid to start because finishing was inevitable. Review!
