Author has written 15 stories for General, Friendship, Religion, General, School, Historical, Love, and Romance. The Brains Behind the Mastperiece: The awesome, piano and oboe playing, book reading, story writing, high school attendee, travel soccer playing, snowboarding, music listening, life loving Moi. Current Literary Conquest: The Great Gatsby- F. Scott Fitzgerald The Works A Jew On the Outside Summary: Sara Cohen a former Jew, became a Christian and was shunned by her family. Forbidden to ever have contact with the Jewish community again, she starts her new life as a frightened, determined, 18 year old in Munich, Germany, in the late 1930s, living with the family of her best friend, Heidi Schneider. Working at a small cafe for minimum wage, going to University, finding a place to live, and World War II are all troubles that abound. With the help, advice, and (eventually) love of the future Doktor Schwarz, Sara finds herself caught up in the adventure, and tragedy, of a lifetime. Rating: T-violence; sexuality Author's Notes: My first "longer than five chapters" piece. I have it all planned out, so there shouldn't be any writer's block (hopefully!), and, since all I have to do is write the chapters, there should be frequent updates (again, hopefully!) I'm really excited about this piece, so please, if you have the time, review! My Princess Summary: A short poem about a "prince" writing to his "princess". Rating: K+-for the idea The Back Garden Summary: "We don't have much time dear," she wispered..."I love you Adelle," he said fiercely, holding back tears, "and I will never ever stop."...and they knew why Adelle was found covered in blood, naught but two weeks after... Rating: T-sexuality and implied sexuality Author's Notes: I originally meant for this to be the prologue to a long piece, but I lost ambition for it. It still does justice as a one shot, however. A Beautiful, Yet Dreadful, Dream Summary: A girl's dream, worrying about her friend's intentions. Rating: K+-for the idea Moonlit Board Ride Summary: What happens when a couple goes on a chairlift in the moonlight. Rating: K+-for the idea Author's Notes: One of my favorite "cutesy" pieces. In my opinion, and in my reviewers' opinions, it is absolutely adorable. The Feeling That I Get Summary: A poem about "the feeling that I get, whenever he looks at me". Rating: K+-for the idea I'm Home Summary: William's been gone for three years, off fighting in Europe. What happens when the last ship from Europe doesn't deliver him to his wife's doorstep? Rating: K+-mild sexuality and implied violence Author's Comments: Another one of my favorite pieces. I had a lot of fun writing it. Again, it could've been turned into something more, but it does justice as a one shot. Who Are You? Summary: "Who are you to say these things about me? I'll find out who you are...just watch me." Rating: K Perhaps I Should've Studied More Summary: We all get the feeling expressed in this poem. "The pressures of a test, especially when no answer seems to come to mind." Rating: K Breathing One's Last Summary: What one phone call can do... Rating: K+-for the idea Author's Notes: True story, the names are changed. A Gift From Heaven Summary: What really happened to Taylor's sister the night she was supposedly murdered by a donkey? Rating: K+-some violence Author's Notes: I believe some explanation is in order for the complete randomness of this story. A couple years ago, my class did a writing exercise where everyone brought in five pictures. We put them in a bag, and each student selected five different pictures and had to make a story about them. One of mine was of a donkey on a hill. And another was of a little girl on her birthday. So, there you go. Cafeteria Girl Summary: A description of a girl you might find in your school cafeteria. Rating: K Author's Comments: My favorite poem I've ever written. Ever. Share With Me Summary: A spiritual poem about sharing your fears and thoughts with God. Rating: K My Birthday Summary: It's the "cool thing to do": when it's your birthday, your friends decorate your locker. Her birthday's tomorrow. She doesn't think her friends will remember. Will they? Rating: K Mandarin Oranges Summary: Heather has leukemia and she needs a bone marrow donor. And she needs one fast. Will she ever be able to find one? Rating: K Author's Notes: A short story I had to write for English class once. Not the best piece I've ever written, but it's pretty cute. And it has all the elements (i.e. problem, climax, solution) so it's well structured. And I got 60/60 on it, so hey, why not give it a shot? All In All: Please take the time to review at least one of my pieces (there are several to choose from!) Just a simple review saying whether you liked it or not is much appreciated.
