me: procrastinator extraordinaire, impatient, affectionate, people-lover, feminist, passionate, writer, curious, open, naive, political, slam poet, ever-evolving, dreadlocked little bitch.
I'm a huge dork. I wouldn't want to be any other way. I bite my nails. I love pearls. I make wire jewelry. I'd gladly make something instead of buying it. I work at a dingy old hippie bead store down at the beach. I love making glass beads, but suck at it because I keep burning myself on the torch. I'm going to move to New Orleans and go to college there. I love New Orleans. I am the shittiest writer I know. I am constantly changing and evolving, otherwise I'd go insane. I'm a music lover: no particular genre, just music in general. I'm an Ani D. fan to the core, which incorporates an evolving style of funk, jazz, punk, and folk. I love indie rock, but just about anything appeals to me, new and old alike.
I'm fascinated by people in general, regaurdless of race, sex, sexual preference, music preference, clothing style or anything material that could define someone.
I think beauty is nice but I'd rather see something new.
I try to keep up with the bigwig politicians as much as I can while balancing my personal life. I see politics as a multi-facetted; I reserve judgment until I know the entire, unbiast story. I think the biggest crime is to leave all the thinking up to the people in control of this country, to get carried away in meaningless little drama of our small lives and never once consider changing the things around you. I refuse to allow anyone to do the thinking for me; be they left-wing liberal or conservative.
I'm in love with my bird, Beatrix. She makes me happy in mass amounts. Avian addicted= me.
I am a mess. My room is a mess. I have collaging materials strewn from wall to wall; bits of paper that get stuck to my toes and tracked from their original spot. Clothes laying like limp, dormant dead bodies among the crust-encased coke cans and unfinished art project. I am officially a mess.
I'm a writer. 'Nuff said.
