Hello! Somehow you stumbled across my fictionpress page... welcome! Please take a seat, make yourself comfortable. I've been waiting for you to come along. Really though, I'm so glad you've joined me here, I'm starving and I need fresh souls to eat. It's so considerate of you to donate...

Well, if you're going to stick around and read some of my writings then I won't eat you until later. No, really, I promise! Don't give me that skeptical look -- okay, I'm putting the salt away. Does that make you feel better?

Oh, you want to know about my writing? I wish I could say that I write avidly, but unfortunately a perpetual state of writer's block (though I think I've recently broken through it) has prevented that. Most of what I post here will be poetry, most of it will be new, and while Ican't promise that it will all be fantastic, I don't plan on posting anything unless I'm fairly confident in its decency. Really though, the only thing I can do is improve, so please give any constructive criticism you have to offer.

As for me (since you asked... I've never had such a polite meal in my life!), my name is Rachel. I'mseventeen years old as of a few weeks ago.I have a hard time describing myself but I'll share this with you...
