The name is Katelyn.

I am a second year at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia.

I am a self-proclaimed writer.

I am one of the happiest people you will ever meet.

I am sarcastic.

I am emotional.

More importantly, I am human.

I love a good romance story but also enjoy action/adventure and mystery.

Right now, I have ideas for stories and these on the site:

You Can't Crack Iron. I say on this site because I have about 100 (not an exaggeration) stories in the works, but I have not devoted enough attention to them to bring them to life for an audience yet. Also, this story is for NaNoWriMo 2008, and I need some feedback on it, so if you would humor me, not only would it be appreciated but, I almost always return the favor.

Blind Fondness- A Play. Being a theatre major at Hollins University, it is only natural that I should develop some plays. I have almost never shown anyone a play of mine, but I think now seems to be a good time. This play is more of the ten-minute kind and doesn't serve much except being something I developed for my Poet's Theatre class. Tell me what you think.

Those Who Live Among Us. My nightmare story. It's still very much in the works, but I really would like feedback. A young cop becomes obsessed with a case that includes the death of her best friend. She meets a strange man, Cal, who is very much like a shadow. He knows but won't tell until all Hell finally breaks loose, but just how is he connected? Better yet, how is Rena? ~A/N: This story is on hiatus until further notice~

The High School Epics. I went through a phase where all I wanted to do was write short stories, so I have quite a few, and since most of them are set in the high school area, I have put them together and called it The High School Epics. I'll probably be posting several on here. If you're interested, take a look.

The Things That Good Tales Are Made Of. VERY tentative title, but it's a new story coming soon. I think it shall be quite interesting and fun to write. Synopsis: A smart princess who has found herself caught in the very thing she hates: fairy tales. There's a witch who is bent on taking over her father's kingdom, a dragon that talks, a prince who's terrified of his own shadow but seems to think that it's his destiny to rescue the princess, and an irritated, poor, royalty-hating farm boy who just happens to be caught up in it all.

Tears of Yesterday. This is a story that I've always wanted to do, and I think that I may have finally found the way to do with the help of my Creative Writing class at school. Preface is posted.

I am also contemplating a background story on Wilmer and Elms from You Can't Crack Iron, but it will definitely have to wait until the story is completed. But it does have a title: Memoirs of a Magician

I have a set of rules for myself that apply to this site: These stories of mine will be the first rough draft only. I have a strong belief that I will be an author one day, and so, I do not want to spoil any surprises. That being said, all my stories on here will be missing at least one chapter, the final chapter. And finally, there will be no more than 10 stories at a time on here by me. I will add and delete stories as I see fit, but no more than 10 at a time will be posted.
