Hi there everybody. I am really excited to be given the opportunity to display my creativity in a constructive manner.

My name is LCPL Phelps, United States Marine Corps. I am deployed to Iraq right now. That is all you need to know. Oh, and I am kick ass at everything.

I recently got myself a Myspace profile. I always welcome new friends, so feel free to take a look and join if you want.

I am generally easy to get along with and have plenty to say becuase I have experienced many unusual things in my life, especially since I joined the Marines. I have seen some crazy things you wouldn't even believe.

I am not one to be a fan of poetry, but when my heart and soul is in the right place the most sublime things can happen. I actually have a favorite poem, it is located in a book by Dean Koontz called "Sole Survivor", which is at the very beginning. It is such an awesome poem, not exactly something studied in school, but I think it is incredibly brilliant. If you get a chance to read the poem I recommend that you take it, and the book is exceptionally well written as well.

News on my projects:
Scrap all this crap. I am keeping this profile strictly poetry... and essays, if I ever write any. All my fictional works will be located at my alternate account Evan, Reality Defiant.

A friend of mine convinced me that I could make a sequel to Mystical Secrets and I will. The story will follow one of Smythe's descendants and will be centered around the crystal sword that contains great powers. I will be working on this now and posting as I go.

I also plan on making an alternate ending to Mystical Secrets that will be so kick ass that I can barely stand to think about how awesome it will be or my head might explode. A different friend of mine showed this devastatingly brilliant idea when we went to the movies once near the end of NaNoWriMo and I knew that we couldn't pull it off in that short amount of time. Now that NaNoWriMo is comlpeted (which I completed) we are going to get to work on that as soon as possible.

After many months, maybe 15, of having completely forgotten that I had an alternate ending worked up, and consequently forgetting almost all of the ideas I had for it, I finally have begun to work out the alternate ending and am writing it slowly and carefully.

In a follow-up to what i said earlier i have actually published my NaNoWriMo story through a company on the internet "aqnd" By Joe am trying to sell them abroad.
