Author has written 46 stories for Life, Romance, Haiku, Friendship, Love, and Humor.

I have always loved reading. I could read when I was four and I haven't stopped since, and that's a lot of books! I'd like to be able to write too. I do write ... but I never finish anything and I don't think it's at all original. Hopefully one day I'll find my voice.

I live in England and St Kitts and try to travel as much as I can and I have two (no, 3) slowly getting grown-up children.

Small selection of favourite authors (in no particular order): Philip Pullman, Ayn Rand, Kipling, Tolstoy, John Fowles, Jane Austen, Juliette Benzoni, Jorge Luis Borges, Salman Rushdie, Jodi Picoult, Janet Fitch, Sally Beauman, Ian MacEwen, Robert Heinlein, Hans Christian Anderson (especially 'The Snow Queen'), Alan Coren, Shakespeare ... 'Hamlet' has to be the best ... I'll read anything and everything. I love wit and satire and dark humour.

I am quite famous for being verbose. I mean why use one sentence when 3 will do?! No, seriously, I'm doing my utmost not to be, even though it's hard once I get going. I suppose it's partly because I love long books. I like to really get immersed in the story and the characters. I'm the only person you'll ever have met who has read the whole of 'A La Recherche de Temps Perdu' by Proust (what a mission!), 'The Raj Quartet' by Paul Scott (brilliant), the whole of 'The Forsyte Saga' by Goldsworthy, 'A Suitable Boy' by Vikram Seth (one of the longest books in the English language), 'Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand (long), most of Trollope, Anthony not Joanna (although I've read all hers too!), the 12 books of 'Dance to the Music of Time' by Anthony Powell, and 'Gone with the Wind' of course ... I'll spare you more. I also have an excellent sense of humour and I can laugh at myself. (I need to frequently.) Heh.

Favourite poets: W.B Yeats - pure genius, especially 'The Second Coming,'The Cloths of Heaven' and 'The Stolen Child'; if you're interested in poetry, read his poems here:

Also, Keats, E E Cummings, Carol Ann Duffy and Hafiz Shirazi (Sufi Mystic), Khalil Gibran, William Blake, Sylvia Plath, Ted Hughes, John Masefield ... too many.

"And ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation."
Kahlil Gibran - The Prophet

If you review me, I'll return the favour.
