Man, has it been a long time since I've updated this thing. Looks like it has almost been two years. Wow. Sorry about that.

For all intents and purposes my name is Maeggy. I'm a 19 year old college student from one of the weirdest weather states, Massachusetts. I enjoy writing, obviously, reading, and bowling. Lurve me the candlepin bowling. I have four, count 'em four tattoos and I plan on getting more. Whoever said they are addicting was completely right. Um, what else:taps chin: Meh, can't think of anything.

If anyone some really good book recommendations, consider the following:

The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory - Amazing historical fiction about the life of Anne Boleyn as told through her sister's perspective. It's really amazing and Gregory just sucks you right into the story. You won't want to put it down.

My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult - Incredible. Poignant. Tissue needing kind of book. About a girl whose sister has a form of cancer and is used basically to harvest thing from her own body that her sister needs. She then decides that she doesn't want to be used anymore and sues her family. It really is one of the best books out there.

Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire - Have you ever wondered about Oz before Dorothy came on the scene. For those of you have seen/heard the musical, this is much darker. Maguire does a great job setting the scene and telling her story. It's different, but it's amazing. Read it.

Dark-Hunter Series by Sherrilyn Kenyon - Supernatural romance. So good! And they're not those plotless romance books either. They each tell a story and have a central conflict. I'd suggest reading them in order and starting with, if not Fantasy Lover (which doesn't directly have a Dark Hunter as the hero, but still delectably good) then you should probably read Night Pleasures first.

Those are my recommendations of the moment.

And because I have nothing else of value to say...here are some amusing quotes:

(Sheridan Ledding)"I was wondering where that sound was coming from"
(me):whispering: "It's coming from here" :points to crotch:..."WAIT! My laptop! In my lap!"

"You must be wondering what a place like me is doing in a girl like this." - Evy, The Mummy

"Compared to you, the plagues were a joy." - The Mummy

"I'm sitting here with my penis." - Meredith Grey, Grey's Anatomy

"You have poison oak where NO ONE wants poison oak." - Dr. Baily, Grey's Anatomy

Oh, and if any of you want to read my fanfiction, head on over to , penname is Maeggy. Thanks! :o)
