Author has written 6 stories for Romance, General, Humor, and Fantasy. A Little Intro Hello all. I joined this site sometime quite a while ago. I don't remember when, but I've decided to actually use my account on here. I like to write a great deal and hope to actually gain success from it someday. Sometimes I feel like what I write is complete crap (and I'm sure it is sometimes) but I know I can write well at least some of the time. I also know that I'm not an idiot since I managed to graduate high school in three years and have other reasons to believe I'm not totally stupid, but I can be an idiot like all people. If anyone actually reads anything I post on here I appreciate honest opinions, both positive and negative, as long as they are at least somewhat well articulated with some reasons supporting the opinion. I also prefer that critiques be constructive with advice on how I can improve if you think there is something that I'm not doing well. I'm not going to school at the moment but definately plan on going back at some point in the not-so-distant future. I'm just working and doing random stuff at the moment. I'm really not up to much right (I almost said "at the moment" again...) but I'm going to see what I can to do make my life more exciting. The Interests Music: Basically, I absolutely love Jason Mraz. He is the musician I listen to the most, and I can't get enough of him. I do actually like other music, though. I'm into a wide variety of stuff, some others being Paolo Nutini, Coldplay, Josh Rouse, John Mayer, Michael Buble, Anna Nalick, Ben Kweller, Damien Rice, Simon and Garfunkel, Christina Aguilera, Norah Jones, Modest Mouse, The White Stripes, Big City Rock, The Beatles, Keane, Muse, Nelly Furtado, The Fray, U2, Lily Allen, and many others. Books: Yeah, I'm a big Harry Potter nerd. I also really like The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, though I really need to read all of it, and read what I have read over again. I like most good character driven fiction and other fiction that is just amusing. I'm trying to get around to reading some classics, and just finished One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and enjoyed it a lot. I like A Series of Unfortunate Events for light, frivelous reading. My favorite book from childhood is Walk Two Moons. Movies: I'll just list some I really enjoy for this... Love Actually, About a Boy, Dogma, Pleasantville, Titanic, Clue, Monty Python's The Meaning of Life, Anchorman, Brokeback Mountain, Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, It's A Wonderful Life. TV: Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, The Simpsons, Desperate Housewives, Lost, Men in Trees, Brothers and Sisters King of the Hill, House, Bones, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Nightline, Primetime, 20/20, basically the entire Food Network, old-school Nicktoons (3/28/07) |
