![]() Author has written 2 stories for Romance, and Fantasy. If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Vertigo has been abandoned. Yes, this is my final decision and I'm very very sorry for it. I loved it dearly when I started, but it's been so many years, the interest is just entirely gone. I've received a lot of complaints about this, but I seriously cannot help this. I tried and tried and tried to finish it; I used to stare at my laptop for hours but nothing came out of me. No compulsion to write, no words, no ideas, no nothing. People have also asked me why I keep it up, in that case. I keep it up because even though I no longer have the urge to write it, the years I spent on it are very important to me. It was my first time getting feedback for my work and I loved hearing back from people, and treasure each and every review to this day. But to give fair warning to those who go into the story with the hope of finding a happy ending for Stella and Nicolai, I have written a giant ABANDONED, READ AT YOUR OWN PERIL into the title to deter people from reading it. But for those of you who are willing to give me a second chance (even after I dropped you in the middle of a story and then left you stranded), I have a new story up. It's titled The Gilded Cage and it's a fantasy partially inspired by The Little Mermaid and the myth of Atlantis. I'm not 16 anymore, this story will not be abandoned. At 22, I've gotten better at setting goals for myself that I can actually follow through with, and this story is one of those. Any feedback (both negative and positive) is incredibly welcome, and I make it a habit to respond to each and every review that leaves a username or email. Thanks for stopping by and sticking with me. Expanded Summary of The Gilded Cage Idris and Aaliya have lived all their lives cloistered in a city hidden miles below the ocean’s surface. The city of Wythe should be a haven for them after their race was hunted off the face of the planet, but they have spent the last few years chafing at the limitations placed on them by their respective circumstances. Idris is kharat, considered so lowly a member of society that few willingly interact with him. Aaliya is the only child of the Lord of Eastern Wythe, one of the four men who control the city. Together they form an escape plan so they will finally know the world that exists beyond the ocean floor, but as they say: even the best laid plans often go awry, and unfortunately for them, Aaliya’s never been known for the quality of her plans. A Little Mermaid reimagining. I am also posting on The Write Away, a LiveJournal community that is a safe haven from the rash of plagiarism that's taken over FictionPress and FanFiction.
