Phillipa Gregory (all of her novels, but my favorites were/are The Constant Princess and The Other Boleyn Girl
Jane Austen (everything, but Persuasion is my favorite)
Elizabeth Gaskell (Wives and Daughters is lovely, it is unfourtunate that she was un-able to complete it)
Charlotte Bronte (Jane Eyre- it was the first Classic i read, at 9, and i adore it, i always go back to it)
Thomas Hardy (Tess of the D'urbervilles is so well written, i couldn't put it down)
More modern books/authors
Gossip Girl sequels ( its trashy, and a good escape!)

Enjoy reading my stuff, and remeber i didnt really write it thinking about the "audience' i wrote it more thinking about what i wanted. I often didnt compete my stories last year so this time i am aiming to complete the storys i start.
Thats all i can be bothered to say ATM, Please R&R, i think you will agree with me that you feel more 'ready' to write if there are constructive reviews and well as compliments coming in.
