He's about to discover her secret, and Kitty will agree to just about anything to keep him quiet... Bloodlines- "You broke my fucking Iphone!" I shriek, having been a witness to my poor phones death just seconds ago. "Do you realise how long it took me to save up for that thing?" As soon as I stop yelling, the male lets out a deep chuckle, clearly finding the whole situation humorous, before crouching down to be level with me. I inadvertently back away, as I'm hit by a wave of his heady cologne. A single, unsurprisingly rough finger settles under my chin, which he uses to hoist my head up. He examines me closely before speaking again. "Oh, believe me Octavia. Your broken Iphone is the least of your problems right now." There's no such thing as happy families. Octavia thought she had a happy family life until she met Clarke Winters. That day her world was turned upside down. He thought capturing her would be a piece of cake but Octavia will flee at every chance she gets. Only she can't run forever, especially when she knows that deep down running from her problems is a race she will never win. |
