Author has written 5 stories for Fantasy, General, and Humor.

What to say, what to say? I love to write (obviously), and fantasy is my favorite genre. Uh...Er...not much more to say, is there? Unless you're wondering about the penguin thing...I like penguins, and it's a sort of running joke with my friends and I that the penguins are what makes me act so insane. Thus, "Penguins Stealing My Sanity". Meh, just go with it.

A general warning to anyone reading my stories here: The novels are probably not going to be finished. Either 1) I never finished the novel in the first place, and am unlikely to go back to it, or 2) I did finish it, or plan to finish it, and don't want to ruin my chances of getting it published by putting it out on the internet. I'm weird like that. But feel free to enjoy what's there!

General Info:

Name: Hate it. Refuse to write it.
Gender: Female
Age: 18. Don't judge me based on my age, because that would make me sad. It's not my fault I was born when I was. Youth =/= bad writing. I'll prove it to you--read my stuff.
Location: I'm a bit paranoid when it comes to telling people where I live. Stalkers and all that jazz, I'm sure you understand. USA is as much as you're going to get from me. But don't judge me on that either--I'm not happy about living here. I plan to leave as soon as I can, preferably for France, Ireland, or England. Or almost anywhere in Europe. Or...anywhere except the hemisphere I'm in now.

And now...
Mostly Random Stuff About Me:

I tend to babble on. And rant. Ranting is fun.

Before you get much farther, know that I really am smarter than I make myself sound. I just enjoy being...unique. You'll have to live with it.

My religion is fairly nonexistant. I'm not an athiest--I do beleive in a higher power, I just don't worship it. Organized religion of any sort bothers me.

I speak fluent sarcasm.

I like rock music, specifically alt rock. My favorite bands are Elobw, Evans Blue, Tool, Queen, Lifehouse, 10 Years, A Perfect Circle, Snow Patrol, Goo Goo Dolls, Augustana, Trapt...and some others I can't be bothered to remember. Not that you care, but I like talking about me. And who knows, if we have the same musical interests, perhaps we'll someday form a life-long bond of friendship based on a mutual love of the bands I mentioned.

My favorite movies are Donnie Darko and the Hannibal movies (Red Dragon, Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal); other good movies are The Departed, The Producers, Brokeback Mountain, Shaun of the Dead, Pirates of the Caribbean (the first one), Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and...some others, I'm sure, but thinking is just too much work right now.

My favorite TV shows are MASH, Will & Grace, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Houswives, Criminal Minds, C.S.I., and Boston Legal.

Favorite authors are Lynn Flewelling, Thomas Harris, Scott Lynch, Tanya Huff, Carol Berg, Jacqueline Carey, David Gemmell, and Ann Marston, pretty much in that order. I also like Tamora Pierce and the Harry Potter books, but I'm more into adult fantasy...

J’adore le français.

I love fantasy. Enough said.

I dislike anime. I really can't explain why; most of the stuff is exactly what I'm looking for--swords, magic, etc.--but I don't like anime. I guess I shouldn't expect myself to make sense.

I like to think of myself as an artist. Heh.

Some of my favorite quotes:

"Insanity is just a state of mind." -Hawkeye Pierce, MASH

"Insanity is no worse than the common cold." -Hawkeye again

"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." -Albert Einstein

“How may I live without my name? I have given you my soul; leave me my name!” -John Proctor, from Arthur Miller's play The Crucible

"Chaos is great. Chaos is what killed the dinosaurs, darling." -J.D. (Christian Slater), Heathers

"You can't just go hacking your way out of every difficult situation that arises. It's uncivilized." -Seregil, from Lynn Flewelling's Luck in the Shadows

"I made a new friend."
"Real or imaginary?"
"Imaginary." -Donnie and Dr. Thurman, Donnie Darko

"There's more to you than there is to you!" -Max Bialystock (Nathan Lane), The Producers

"Nuditity makes me breathe funny!" -Radar, MASH

"I am metaphorically curled up in the fetal position and you continue to kick me about the ear, nose, and throat!" -Jack, Will & Grace

"Anything's possible...if it happens." -Oxnard Montalvo, from The Angry Beavers (the best old cartoon ever made)

"One by one, the penguins are stealing my sanity." -the best shirt in the world, which I didn't have enough money to buy and haven't been able to find anywhere ever again

"The insanity keeps me sane." -Me, whenever the opportunity presents itself
