IMPORTANT NOTE: I've had some complaints about swearing and so on in my novels, but if you have a problem with this, you don't have to read them. I appreciate the input, really, but I am not going to censor anything. I apologize, I really do, but if you want to read my work, you're going to have to take the swearing. It may get progressively worse as I throw my characters lives into greater disarray, but in real life, people swear. Either accept it and forgive me this vice, or I kindly suggest you find something more tame to read. I do love you readers; you know that, right? :)

IMPORTANT NOTE 2: I can't beta right now. I'm sorry. Really. I got too many requests and had too many things to edit, and I just couldn't get any of it done. It's not feasible for me at the moment; I haven't the time. I want you to know that I tried to find the time, but it's not there at the moment. Sorry.

IMPORTANT NOTE 3: I'm taking down a bunch of stuff (sorry) and focusing on editing (my first completed novel!!). So. A lot of old garbage is being cleared off, and hopefully I can get another project going soon and get some new stuff up. Maybe a complete rewrite of Moonlight (awful) ...

I've been struggling rather painfully through a handful of projects that all die off in the end. I'm quite happy to see them gone, though, because I've realized over the years that they were introductions into the writing world for me and were, as a result, horrendously awful to read. (Apologies). As a harsh reviewer myself, I favor the "tough love" approach, and constructive criticism is something I need v. badly right now. I always return the favor of reviewing if you comment on one of my pieces, and am wholly grateful when the favor is returned.

18.11.09: Just put up the prologue and first chapter of the next book in the Danny Avery series (yes, it is better than the disastrous first); I'm working on it for National Novel Writing Month, thought you'd like a taste ;)

02.04.10: Happy April, all! And happy 2010!! There was a bit of a setback with the NaNo novel... I went and deleted the last 12,000 words... So that's in the rewriting process! Also got started on a few new things to keep me occupied. Might post some new stuff in a while

11.11.10: National Novel Writing Month is upon us once again!! Check out BRAMLEY, my current pet project; I'll be updating every so often throughout the month as I struggle painfully through the 50,000 word project. Hurrah!!

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Writing a book is a long, exhausting struggle, like a long bout of some painful illness. One would never undertake such a thing if one were not driven by some demon whom one can neither resist nor understand.

I'm all in favor of keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of fools. Let's start with typewriters.
