My name is Sarah. I was born in a small town in Louisiana but was raised in Iowa. I am currently in school studying psychology and english and would love to be a paid writer. Not expecting that to happen anytime soon, though, I will be enrolling in the police academy after I graduate. The goal is to become a behavioral analyst for the FBI, one day. Meanwhile, I write whenever I get a chance to. I write pretty much anything and everything, with the exception of songs. But my specialty is screenplays, of which I have lots. I also hac fanfics at www.fanfiction.net.
--> My favorite author is Charlotte Perkins Gilman , who wrote the phenominal, and you should go out and read it right now.
Science has not yet told us whether madness may not be the sublime form of intelligence.
Street: Complete. This was originally done as an assignment in middle school (obviously this has been overhauled since then). It would be interesting to know what you thought about the end.
Abbot's Road: Complete. This is from a series of short stories about the character Georgie. The stories all center around moments that define her and are based on the life of someone I know. However these are still works of fiction. I'm not sure when I'll get around to putting up the other stories in what I'm calling my "Bonners Ferry Collection."
Snow: In Process. I originally started this for a contest, however it's exceed the maximum number of words allowed so where this will end, even I don't know.
Odd: Complete. This may be a deeply disturbing peice to some so consider yourself warned about it. I wrote this as an exersize using my future career as a behavioral analyst as inspiration.
The "Why" Poems:These poems attempt to take apart the question "Why?" and see how relevent it is to continuously ask it.
"Feather": I did this while sitting in a creative writing class. During the teachers lecture I noticed a small white feather that got stuck to the window screen.
"Chaulk": Another poem I did in a class.
"Target": This is actually one of my favorite poems, I wrote it in 2001.
"The Water Edge Waltz": One of the few poems I've done that isn't depressing or overly dramatic. At the end of it you can actually smile!
The Third Kingdom: In Process. Each chapter will represent an "episode" in the series. It deals with love, reincarnation, magic, and everything else that can happen in life. The Third Kingdom is about a girl who finds out she's not only the reincarnation of a dead princess but by dating one of the 2 guys she likes she'd be deciding the fate of the world. And you think your dating issues were big!
