"Take nothing but memories of my stories, and leave nothing but reviews." –Me

My pen name: A play on "iron pyrite," also known as fool's gold. "Pyrate" is an archaic spelling of "pirate."

Me: I'm a homeschooled teen, and I love writing and reading! I have way too many favorite books to list them all, but I like the Inheritance Trilogy (although I thought the movie SUCKED), Bloody Jack Adventures, The Hollow Kingdom Trilogy (though By These Ten Bones was good, too), Anna of Byzantium, and so many others. My favorite authors include: Ann Rinaldi, Celia Rees, Sherwood Smith, Tamora Pierce, Monica Furlong, you get the idea, loads. I also love acting, Shakespeare, and watching less-popular movies like Whale Rider, Amadeus, The Village, Labyrinth, Twelfth Night: Or What You Will, the Horatio Hornblower series, and Bride and Prejudice (not to mention being completely in love with the 1995 version of Pride and Prejudice). If you like any of the books, authors, or movies I mention, check out my quizzes at and see if I've made a quiz about any of them.

My writing:

Sorry to everyone who's been following it, but I took down Beautiful the Way You Are, at least for now. The rest of it's just not ready to come out yet or something. But I saved everyone's wonderful feedback for later. Thank you all so much for the encouragement and critiquing!

As for poems, A Taste of Love is only the second one I've ever written, and the rest are in some random order after that. I have some others to post, but I can't get the formatting to look right and I have been lazy about it anyway.
