Ums, yeah. My life is of such little interest that I hardly feel the need to discuss it on such an open ended site. Besides, all you really need to know about me is that I'm female.

How d'you like me now?

Kidding. So, I've had an account for a while but I've kind of ignored it. Sort of like your appendix. You just don't notice it until it's gone, or somebody brings up theirs and you get that funny feeling in your stomach from phantom pain and anxiety, because you really don't want your appendix to burst on you. Not that this site's going to blow me up or something.

In hindsight, perhaps my analogy wasn't sound.

I've been on (that's fanfiction to all you normal people) for a while now, as a sort of stretching my legs thing. Right now I'm working on transitioning from writing mostly fanfiction to writing mostly my own stuff, which is fun. I've started posting a light story - light for me, anyways - here, as seen below. Usually I like the supernatural aspect of fiction but as a sort of writing exercise I really pulled away from all that and just focused on the characters, because without good character development there's no point in reading a story. At least I think so.

I have a difficult time reading stories that aren't written well, mostly because I've got this mix of OCD/ADD and if something isn't captivating or structured well I get annoyed and easily bored. Fortunately, there's a lot of good stuff on here, but if someone wants to recommend a story to me with some run-on sentence abuse, I may visit them with an axe in the middle of the night for revenge. It's just a possibility to keep in mind.

So... a lot of what I post on here will be somewhat slow in coming, at least for now. Next year, who knows?

Current Projects:

Moments in Time
Summary: She believes in God, he doesn't believe much in anything. She's ignoring her past, he's fighting to find his. She thinks she's painfully ordinary, he's never met anyone like her in his life. She's messed up, and so is he.

Normalspeak: I know, not exactly a descriptive summary, but certainly intruiging. Right? I'm getting a kick out of writing it. You know the formula: boy meets girl, boy and girl start to like each other, the shit hits the fan. It's primarily a romance, I guess, but I'm weaving in a lot of family issues because I think they are so important to look at. If I'm reading a romance I'd like to see other dynamics as well or else it's just a headache of drama.

Sorry, folks, that's it. Well, it's not like anyone's actually reading this... hellooo? Can you see me?

The first time I had kicked in the womb it had been when Max, a baby himself, had placed his hand against my mother's stomach. It had been the first, but certainly not the last, time I'd kicked him, and now suddenly he wasn't interested in a fight? Weird. **Removed and now available on Amazon and Smashwords!**

It'd be fair to say Madison McHale has a little trouble controlling her temper. It'd be fair to say Caine Jeffries is a little bit of a player. Insert a bet, an ultimatum, dysfunctional families, meddlesome friends... and you've got yourself a love story.
