Author has written 5 stories for Love, General, and Humor.

I am a sophmore in high school. I have no clue what I want to be when I grow up, which puts me in a sticky situation. My distraction passion is writing. My main inspiration is a stuffed pink caterpillar named Mr. Caterpillar (how clever). I no longer have him, but his nickame, M.C. (get it?), is what makes up my pen name, Ashley M.C. (ironically my middle name and last name begin with an "m" and a "c").

Random Information: I think myspace and emo are taking over the world (and they are). I'm in HP Enlgish and I think my teacher is the spawn of the devil. My favorite books are: Oh, the places you'll go by Dr. Suess; Stargirl by Jerry Spenelli; and Forever by Judy Blume. I don't believe in God. My favorite musical artist is Prince. I don't think random things thrown in a pile is art. I am in love with Minneapolis. Suburbia confuses me (especially hacky sack...). I've had two boyfriends. I love high heels. I had a faux-hawk for a while. My favorite thing to drink in whole milk or strawberry margaritas. I have braces. I go to bed at 9:00. I have my eyebrows waxed because I hate plucking. I love Enid. I have the same birthday as Prince (June 7th). I like photopgraphy.

A list of things I love: M.C. Nina. rain. passion. writing. my family. singing really loudly. dancing like an idiot. love. books. walks. creeks, rivers, and lakes. leopard print. sewing. stuffed animals. pictures. notes. brick. the coffee shop. earrings. blue eyes. pens. macaroni and cheese. pouty lips. bumming pants. lifetime movies. popcorn. riding the bus. the city. potatoes. my friends. friendship bracelets. nail polish. hot sand. cheese in a can. nilla wafers. hugs. being warm. chocolate milk. bikinis. singing in the shower. painting. guys who smell good. waterfalls. old buildings. freckles. chocolate. quiet. strawberry daquiris. feeding fish. cleavage. plants. autumn. sunrise and sunset. pizza. deep conditioners. country music. the moon. screwing (in a techie sense). taking pictures. worn-in jeans. caution tape. prom dresses. cows. fauxhawks. lots of ear piercings. tatoos. freshly shaven legs. sleeping in hammocks. houses with "character". sharpies. hooker boots. weird colored/patterned bras. lace. libraries. leather jackets. enid. auditoriums. getting mail. the cold side of the pillow.

My writing: I've been a adamant reader since the second grade when my teacher realized, "Hey! This girl is really smart and way beyond the rest of her class's reading skills," and she gave me a whole bunch of books. I started writing in sixth grade and started off mostly with fanfics, but slowly grew into fantasy. I decidedI sucked at that though and started writing just normal ficiton about middle school girls and whatnot. Then in ninth grade I was in a make-up science class where all we did was read sci-fi. And I fell in love again so here I am being a sci-fi writer (and sometimes fantasy).

readsee these: dark they were, and golden eyed by ray bradbury; Andromeda Strain (directed by robert wise); nightfall by issac asimov; all in a summer day by ray bradbury; microcosmic god by theodore sturgeon;
