Author has written 8 stories for Supernatural, Romance, Horror, Religion, General, and General. "Love is the thing this time, I'm sure..." - Jars of Clay Hello there, I'm BJ Worth, and here is my get-to-know-me page. I'll just ramble on for a few paragraphs, and, hopefully, by the end, you'll know me a bit better (although I'll still know nothing about you unless you email me). Most of my preferences contain classic, idyllic elements with dark, introspective elements. I'm a big fan of Casablanca, Norah Jones, Glenn Miller, etc. on the one had, and of Elliott Smith, Bright Eyes, Trainspotting, etc. on the other. I think both of these elements combine in my great love of F. Scott Fitzgerald. I also like Alice Hoffman, Ernest Hemmingway, Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. My favorite poet is Anna Swir (although this is constantly changing). The scariest book I've ever read was Dracula by Bram Stoker; the most entertaining was Riptide by Preston and Child; and the saddest was A Farewell to Arms by Hemmingway. I also really enjoyed The Mysteries of Udolpho by Ann Radcliffe. I have a very shy, quiet personality. Although I have never taken an official test, I have been told I am most likely an INFP on the Myer-Briggs Type Indicator, and an Idealist on the Keirsey Temperament Sorter, which might explain my lack of regard for grammatical mechanics and concrete word definitions, and also my characters' emotional intensity. I am also deeply religious, drawn towards the symbolism and mystery of the Catholic faith, while despising the common sense approach of Evangelical Protestantism, although my beliefs line up with the latter. I attend First Congregational of Fruitport and play bass in the praise band. Some of my lesser known favorites are the bands Passenger and Eisley, and the movie Acts of Worship.
