Author has written 5 stories for Religion, and Song.

My name is Rachel. I'm 19 and I reside in the USA. I'm the co-author of "Legacy of Heroes", which is published under my cousin Firal's account.

A lot of my personality is found in this statement: "In the depths of my soul, I longed to be a part of something large and good; something that required all of me; something dangerous and worth dying for."~Stasi Eldredge, Captivating. I almost instantly tend towards the minority, the unpopular, and the radical. I feel a kinship w/ those who have the guts to voice their unpopular opinions. I love it when people use their brains and don't just blindly follow the big group.

I consider myself intellectual, not because of how much I know, but because of the way I respect information. I'll usually prefer an analytical, philosopical discussion over a card game.

I am very passionate about Truth, and am on a quest for more of it. This is the area I have been most hurt in my life so far--in my mind and on this quest. I try to keep an open mind towards ideas that claim to be truth, even if I've always been taught otherwise. If someone tells me that God doesn't exist, I don't just say "You're wrong!" and leave it at that. I ask, "Why do you believe that?", because I believe that there must be reasons and evidence behind every idea.

I am also passionate about the communication of Truth. I respect words--the communication of information--very highly. I believe in the expression of one's mind. Open communication between parties would clear up a lot of misunderstandings.

Knowledge should influence one's feelings and subsequent actions. If one thinks without feeling, he is a robot. If one feels without thinking, he is not in control of himself; he is being controlled by chemicals or other spirits.

I love Truth. Even if I don't know most of the time who, what, or where He is, I know He exists and therefore I quest for a fuller revelation of Him.

All this adds up to the fact that I have few friends. People of less sensitive orientation do not understand the challenges I face (how I wish they would!), and avoid this part of me. Obstacles, wounds, lack of of support, and discouragement are craftily contrived by my enemy (cruelly using deception) to flow from those I thought I could trust most. Consequently, I quest for those who share my beliefs and aspirations so that I can fellowship with them.
