Hi everyone...nice to meet you! I've been writing for awhile but never thought about posting until a good friend introduced me...so 3 cheers for Storyteller Knight (and Hellenic Pride, my college freshman-year roommate)!

As you may have guessed from reading Ghost of the Lighthouse, The Nutcracker's Sweet (yes, I spelled it sweet on purpose), Rapunzel's Story, The Magic Mirror Tells You True, and The Knight's-and Lady's-Tale, my forte is retelling the old stories with a slight twist. I like to think of it as a change in perspective, a new way of looking at something that has become slightly ordinary and often overused.

Enter the Woods is the longest original story I've written yet, I think. If the first chapter is a bit cliche'd, that's just to get things started on an expected fairy-tale path before careening off in (what I hope is) a totally new and unexpected direction. So keep reading, keep reviewing. I wrote for you (and myself of course), so let me know what you think is good and what could use a little sprucing up.

Update 2/10/07: Storyteller Knight and I have embarked upon a long joint story that we like to refer to simply as 'Overlord', under the joint penname Storyteller Phoenix. That will be mostly where my updates are for the next few months. So go take a look!

I also have a few stories on fanfiction.net, penname SamoaPhoenix9. Nightingale, my first full-length fanfic, is complete and updated on that site, and my second and third, Whisper Plantation and Holding Out For a Hero, are complete but not edited. Feel free to check them out if so inclined.

Cheers for now,
SamoaPhoenix ;)
