Me:

I write because I love to create. I write because I find reality is often insufficient, and also because the only way that we can understand ourselves is to explore the universes within our minds. Unfortunately, I cannot paint. I cannot sing. I cannot act. I cannot sculpt. I play no instruments. But I can write, so I do. I write to give shape to the chaotic universe between my ears. I write because that's the best way I have to understand myself, and to understand my life. For me, writing is the trail of breadcrumbs that reminds me where I've been, and gives me a rough idea of where I'm going.
