"...but now I know that our world is no more permanent than a wave
rising on the ocean. Whatever our struggles and triumphs, however we
may suffer there, all too soon they bleed into a wash, just like watery
ink on paper." --Arthur C. Golden, Memoirs of a Geisha
Welcome, any and all who arrive here.
I am a 25 year old law school grad.
Real life after school
(seven years of higher education) is scary.

I'm also a shopaholic, and I love good music.
My current faves are Rilo Kiley, Sarah Barielles, & Keane. If you have any suggestions for me, please drop me a line.
It's always great to find new bands and fodder for my iPod.
It seems odd posting my writing, because I write mostly for myself. I
find it to be cathartic. Sometimes the only way I can escape my
thoughts is to give them life upon paper. That said, these poems are mostly drabbles.
Thus, they will likely have more emotional value pour moi, than anything else.
I still contend that "Roll Again..." is probably my best. Let me know what you think. Concrit is always appreciated. (That is, in the event anyone ever reads these. I tend to post at 4am.) There are lots of great authors on this website, and I'm probably not one of them, lol.
I've been tweaking things and re-editing a lot, due in large part to the amount of time on my hands while I'm studying for the bar. (I'm probably procrastinating.)
At Kendal's behest, I have decided to join and post these.
She says that they do have literary value,
but I make no such guarantees.
BTW- "Res Ipsa Locquitur" isactually Latin legal jargon,
which roughly translates, "the thing speaks for itself."
