"At birth, we emerge from dream soup - and when we die, we sink back into dream soup. Life is simply the portage in between" - unknown

some favorite authors? Tom Robbins, George Orwell, Philip K Dick, Larry Niven, Anne McAffrey, Ray Bradbury, Kurt Vonnegut, Harlan Ellison, Douglas Coupland, Margaret Atwood, Aldous Huxley, Robert J Sawyer, Naomi Klein, Kahlil Gibran

a few favorite artists? Led Zep, Blind Melon, Brand New, Alexisonfire, Matthew Good Band, Disturbed, Ben Harper, Sublime, Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam, Blackalicious, DJ Shadow, DJ Vadim, Billy Talent, Buck 65

I really don't know what else I would want to say or what you would want to know. I am your average Canadian wage-slave, I write poems and songs to kind of escape myself - I guess I read and review your poems and songs to escape everything else.

There, see? I bit the bullet and finally made a profile. Now the world finally knows something about me and I've learned I'm an escape artist. Yay. This site is paying off already.

(Of course, I've learned other things in this life too. Such as, potato chips and oriental noodles both SUCK when you're going hungry)

"In the future, everyone will be anonymous for 15 minutes..." - unknown

This is about sex. I originally began it very, very, very differently so it could have been about rape, taking virginity, Ted Bundy, Vlad Tepes, or a number of other interpretations, but couldn't get the format to flow, so I scrapped it and began again.
