Well, most of them are very good, sometimes I add a story because I think it might warrant a second look but forget about it and never read it. Favourite Books/Authors (I spell favourite with a "u" because I'm Canadian...): O.R. Melling - There is a definite possibility that she could be my favourite author ever. The Chronicles of Faerie are so, SO, SO EXCELLENT! Alison Croggon - I love the Book of Pellinor series, first book is the best. It gets a bit angsty but the prose is amazing. David Eddings - I admit it's a bit old school but if you're looking for a good fantasy author he's your guy. The Belgariad series is my favourite. Guy Gavriel Kay - Canadian author!! Yay!! I really like the The Fionavar Tapestry. His writing is similar to J.R.R. Tolkien. Garth Nix - Shade's Children and the Abhorsen series are really good. Jane Austen - Okay so putting her down as one of my favourites is SO CLICHE but whatever. |
