Welcome! Thank you for stopping by! My name is Shannon A Hiner and I am very recently a published writer! (I am sure you discerned that easily by reading the top of this page)

My main piece of work is The Immortal World series. I have been writing this series for about four years now, and it has truly taken over my life. I would like to be able to live off of my writing, but that dream has not yet become reality. My plan is to self publish my books until or unless a publishing house or literary agent offer me a publishing deal. Until such a point, I work full time and am working toward my college degree.

The stories here on FictionPress will all, eventually, be taken down one at a time and heavily edited. They will undergo extreme scrutiny and emerge with plot holes filled, character irregularities fixed, and the kind of focus you expect from any book you pick up in a store.

I am VERY proud of the work that has taken place on Submerged In Darkness to bring it to its current standard.

Only The Stars Know: Formerly titled Blood's Faith, this story has been completely rewritten. While it does resemble the original, thankfully, it is about 5 times longer and a million times better.

Weaken The Knees: (Fantasy Fiction involving mainly vampires) Currently on an Hiatus. My plan is to finish it when I'm caught up on the other stories (2 or 3 need some heavy rewriting) I...uh, sort of found out WHY Rene wasn't talking to me and it was a very good reason. So we'll sort everything out when I have the proper amount of time to devote to it.
