My work will no longer appear on this site to allow me to claim "previously unpublished" status when submitting to magazines. To those who read my past works, I thank you for your reviews and support. Every last one of you helped me tremendously and you deserve lots of cookies and great big hugs. You are a large part of the reason I do this and I hope you will make this jump to a new, more professional media with me.

There's a long, hard road ahead, requiring dedication, perserverance, and thick skin. It will steal all my free time and some of my not-so-free time. There's the joy of a new piece, the agony of choosing a market and submitting, the anxiety of the wait and either the tears of rejection or the exaultation of an acceptance - often overlapping each other as different pieces work on their own schedules. But, in the end, I wouldn't have it any other way. This is what I want. It's time for me to step up and grab it.

So here's to the future - may readers love us, editors swoon at our feet, and every piece be accepted!
