Author has written 4 stories for Young Adult, and General.

Hello! I'm Catie, which you may know if you're here. I'm fifteen years old and go to a private arts school in Washington, though I wish it were in California. My passion is writing and I love my friends and music. I'm kind of quirky, especially with random things which bother me; I have bad grammar, napkins (that texture makes me shiver to think about!), dry clay on my hands, cracking knuckles and math. I've recently found a hobby in a couple art medias, mostly oil pastels and clay. I'm generally very energetic and good humor, but things which make me mad tend to make me very mad. Two topics which I feel very strongly about are abortion (I'm all for it, but that's not to say I would get one) and gay rights. I'm very liberal, perhaps as a result of my upbringing. Lessee... I love taking photos, mostly of my friends and I, but I have a few artistically inclined ones. Maybe you'd like to hear about my music taste?

I listen to a ridiculous number of bands and singers, but I tend to move through phases of extreme love for one artist or another. I am currently in love with Something Corporate and The Rocket Summer. I also adore The Postal Service, Missy Higgins, Death Cab for Cutie, Sheryl Crow, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, Jack Johnson, The Eames Era, Taking Back Sunday, Boys Like Girls, Jack's Mannequin, Paramore, The Academy Is..., AC/DC, AFI, Aimee Mann, All-American Rejects, Anna Nalick, old Avril Lavigne (mostly nostalgia, I think), old Green Day, Blue October, Brand New, Cake, Camera Obscura, Cute Is What We Aim For, Evanescence, Ella Fitzgerald, Five For Fighting, The Fray, Harvey Danger, The Hush Sound, The Killers, The Kooks, Maroon 5, Linkin Park, Meg & Dia, Natasha Bedingfield, Plain White T's, Queen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Shiny Toy Guns and Snow Patrol. And those are only my favourites.

I also love reading. I am interested in a wide array of genres. I currently am in love with (these are both books and authors. you guess which is which) Bill Bryson (The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid, A Walk in the Woods, I'm a Stranger Here Myself), Jodi Picoult (Keeping Faith, My Sister's Keeper, Perfect Match, The 10th Circle, Vanishing Act), Ken Follet (White Out), Allison Weir (The Children of Henry VIII, The Six Wives of Henry VIII), Phillipa Gregory (The Other Boleyn Girl, The Constant Princess, The Queen's Fool), Animal Farm by George Orwell, Shade's Chilrdren, Waiting, Libba Bray (A Great and Terrible Beauty, Rebel Angels), Holes, Ender's Game, Harry Potter (duh) and... well, I'll have to check my bookshelf. I'm at school right now.

Thanks for taking an interest in my work, and I'd LOVE it if you could review! Love, Catie

A Grave Mistake by Yabberli reviews
Cecy's always wanted to go to boarding school. Unfortunately, the only way to get there requires a dear sacrifice. Not necessarily one that was planned, either. Sometimes the only way to get what you want is to go with the flow. Creativity is good, too.

A dark, disturbing look at a child's nursery rhyme. "Peter, Peter, Pumpkineater, had a wife and couldn't keep her." Not what you usually see from me.

The Seven Deadly Sins: A Series reviews
This is a series of short stories, each one based of a different Deadly Sin. This is no religious rant, trust me. They are fairly morbid, which earns them a high rating. R&R!

Jamie, a seventeen year old playboy, meets a waitress, Leah, in the local diner. Through struggle, secrets and drama, Leah turns Jamie's life around for the better. Cheesy, I know. It sounds better in writing. On Hold
