NOTE: If you like my super hero characters, check out lace and grace . She is my friend who helped create that particular super hero world I use and together we created tons and tons of metahuman characters. You've seen two of her characters in some of my works already: Ronan and Durriken. Yeah, so she uses some of mine in her fiction and TRUST ME... we all know I'm not that great, but she? There are three stories on this account that do not occur in the same universe as the main group I will write of. These stories are: Apple, The Reign of Knox the First, and Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Now Floating in Space. Two stories combine characters from LaGWANFiS, and that is Collide and Nice to Meet You.

Sets O' Characters:

SuperEarth

This is your basic super hero Universe. It's known as Earth to everyone inhabiting it, and those who have any supernatural ability are usually called "metahumans" rather than mutants. It has no made up cities like in the DC universe and for the most part, it deals with naturally manifesting powers, not powers via items or alien technology. It's not that complicated yet.

This 'verse was created by myself and my good friend Lacey (see way above, first note) when we wanted to start our own RPG on Greatestjournal. It has since closed down for various reasons, but Lacey and I have continued writing novellas and one-shots for this 'verse. We have come a long way since our small RPG and everyday we make details of this 'verse more concrete, so that any of you reading will understand it that much more.

Mostly, though, we write for our own pleasure and practice. I understand complaints of confusion, and there are a few stories we are writing to help you all.. so, read my: "Welcome to Liberty Heights" and her "Liberty Heights: The Blog Project" and hopefully those will clear certain things up regarding characters, origins of places, future super hero teams and villains.

I'm going to attempt to make a clear Character List that will spell out how most characters relate to one another. The "Base" mentioned for each is what I used while in the RPG. I just wanted people to have a good visual outside of my own descriptions and arts. If you just don't give a flying flip, glide on down to the stories and have fun!

Liberty Cordell:

Born: July 4, 1976

Occupation: Principal of Liberty Heights, founded in 2001.

Team affiliation: former leader of The Union Guard.

Martial Status: Romantically linked with Logan Wilson.

Powers: Superhuman strength, leaping, speed and invulnerability.

Other: Seen as incredibly patriotic, is from the deep south of America.

Base: Reese Witherspoon

Dr. Sunday A. Jacobs:

Born: First, on August 2, 1963. Second, August fifth, 1989

Occupation: Head of science department of Liberty Heights.

Team Affiliation: former member of The Defenders. Consultant of The Graduates.

Parents: first, Ted and Marcie Jacobs, second, Mark and Donna Brooks.

Brother: Diesel Bolivar

Cousin: Felix Orville

Romantically involved with: Ronan McCleode

Powers: Chlorokinesis, Biokinesis, Duplication and slight Accelerated Healing.

Other: Can only remember her latest reincarnation process, and has been reincarnated due to her powers over thousands of years, but she has very little memory of any of those previous lives.

Guy Winston:

Born: October 28, 1974

Occupation: former middleman to heroes and villains, former salesman, presently English teacher at Liberty Heights.

Parents: Zeph and Janice Winston

Self appointed mentor to: Cassie Thordon and Emmylee Carson.

Martial status: Widower

Powers: Mediumship, summoning and mind-control, limited to demons, angels, and the ghosts of the dead. Can force a possession of his body. The result of a demonic possession is an increased strength and speed. An angelic possession is harder to force and only occurs if he is doing something selfless, he can then fly and has strong psychic powers.

Other: Speaks with a thick accent and even though he has a degree in English, he disregards proper English when he speaks.

Riff Jones:

Born: January 1, 1981

Occupation: Actor, former Choir Director at Liberty Heights.

Parents: Devin “Nyx” Grady, deceased, and Derrin “The Illusionist” Smatts.

Powers: Photokinesis and absorption.

Other: Grew up without knowing who is father was until his mother’s death when he was 18.

Occupation: Lawyer, philanthropist.

Other: Born in Kenya, his real parents, Frederick and Ava, were both German. The man he calls father, however, is Scottish. Thus, Rafe has a thick Scottish accent and is fluent in German as well as several languages of Kenya including Swahili.

Occupation: Mathematician

Other: While he can throw a perfect bulls eye with darts or throwing knives, he refuses to take up such sports that require accuracy such as that. It is because he has a phobia of sharp objects and can’t even hold a sharp knife without feeling sick to his stomach. He is one of the many graduates of Liberty Heights to not pursue a life of heroism.

Powers: Density control and natural armor, takes on the look of a statue made of marble and has an increase of strength and invulnerability.

Other: She is known publicly as a metahuman and is praised for her beauty and strength, but many think ill of her since she has been known to be arrogant and speaks of metahumans as superior beings. Her work with The Organization is secretive.

Other: She never graduated college. After saving a bus load of people from a bomb by absorbing the energy and exploding herself far from the bus, she was recognized as a prime candidate for the LAPD’s bomb squad. She joined the force, went through training, and has been a cop for a few years. This seems odd to most people considering she tends to look similar to a cheerleader, and was, in fact, a cheerleader all through high school and college.

Occupation: Journalist
