Author has written 30 stories for Life, Friendship, School, Love, Young Adult, Essay, and Romance. Hi! I'm Eka. Formerly known as: x-eka-x. Hmmm...about me. Well, I'm a girl who is currently going to high school. That puts me somewhere in the teens. Love is the most commonly misinterperted word in the English language. Love does not automatically mean that romantic stuff. Love is really just caring for anybody, or anything, a strong positive emotional connection. Hugs rock my world. I highly suspect I have some sort of mental disorder like bipolar or borderline personality disorder or something lovely like that, but I don't want to find out for sure. And I almost definately have identity problems. I live in Canada, whoot. I loove animals, especially horses and dogs. I also really love music, all genres, but if you wanted me to pick, I'd have to go with poprocks (mmm, poprocks). I mean pop and rock. My favourite artists include: The All-American Rejects, Avril Lavigne, Fallout Boy, Daft Punk, Rex Goudie, Simple Plan and of course S Club, Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, Nsync; all the 90s stuff I grew up with. Of course, I very rarely judge music my artist, so some of my favourite songs include: Strong Enough-Rex Goudie, Remember The Name-Fort Minor, Apologize-One Republic, All I Ever Wanted-Brain Melo, Wonderwall-Oasis, Vois Sur Ton Chemin, Caresse Sur L'Ocean and Les Avions En Papier from Les Choristes and many many more. I also love to sing, but I don't sound very good. Anyways, I clearly love my music. I am not really a writer, aka I don't have any sort of skill, but I like to write to express. I would absolutely love it if you could read and review my stuff to help me improve. I also have a random fear of public speaking. Extremely random. Okay, I probably should be doing my homework I should always probably be doing homework, but never actually am. So uhh, yea. If you want to know more about me/just talk (I love it when people want to just talk about nothing in particular) you can send me an e-mail (k9_katie@ for the lazy people who don't want to click on that link up there). --(Why won't it let me insert a line?) Current Work-In-Progress(es) Meet MICE: Completely disregard the title, it's just something from real life about this story. So yes, this is a true story, or rather a collection of short stories, I guess, with a plot that goes on forever, because as long as I still see the people that I'm writing about in this story, then the story will still go on. Yay for everlasting plot? Basically ths plot will mainly revolve around me (Eka), "Stephen", "Lisa" and "Theodore" for the majority of what has happened so far. This is basically a story about real life relationships. It's mostly not my story to tell, just a story told from my perspective, if you get what I'm saying. Anyways, these were events that were extremely fun, painful or just those that really deserved to be remembered. As it is stated often in the story, I hold this very close to my heart, and well, yea. Bet On A Long Shot: Just randomly, the title was inspired from something Jazz said in the bokk from the Throughbred series, Faith In A Long Shot. Actualy, you can see the resemblence right there. Anyways on with about the story. Troy and Lily are been good friends that have gone through hard times. This is about them facing the greatest obstacle their friendship has seen yet. Oh jeebus, I changed the plot a little in my head,so the title might not make so much sense anymore...Oh well. Ps. The first half is somewhat true, so it may overlap with things to come waaayy later in Meet MICE. Anyhow that shouldn't matter too much. Latest Oneshot: Of Baby Canaries: One boy, one girl, and an aged friendship, facing something that threatens to separate them forever. Oh, and two canary chicks, somehow related. I had so much fun writing this, even though I was really supposed to be doing a summative project. Some events are true, but it's a purely fictional plot (yay! finally.) Poem: It Goes On: A poem I dug out of the depths of my computer, written a good...over half year ago. Deticated to ma couleuvre (french for constrictor-type snake, but thats not important at all). Collections Things I Wish I Could Tell You: Letters to people in my life about, well clearly, things I wish I could tell them. Pretty much self-explanatory. Quite emotional. I recommend reading this one most of all my stuff, just because it's really honest. Wow, shameless promotion right there... One Word: One simple word will prompt one (or more) memories. A drabble/work collection of memoires derived from one word. |
