Author has written 7 stories for Love, Life, and General.

My heart was fashioned to be susceptible of love and sympathy, and when wrenched by misery to vice and hatred, it did not endure the violence of the change without torture such as you cannot even imagine.

-From Mary Shelly's Frakenstein

I'm a simple person, currently residing in Canada. I find great joy in writing and I hope that anyone who reads my work will find some pleaseantries in my work. I would also like to thank anyone in advance who would take the precious time out of their time to read my quite obnoxious stories...I give you my deepest graditude. There's not much to say about myself, other than that I am a boring Science student attending the University of Alberta (I was formerly a U of C student, who just transferred). Truthfully, I am quite dispassioned with the nature of my studies. My other hobbies include drawing and composing music. My dream job is to be traveling musician/performer.

Personally, some say I'm a hopeless romantic and I won't deny it. My hopes can only be to find love and live a simple and fulfilling life, no matter how complicated it may all turn out to be.

I enjoy reading the work of others and I will be objective and fair enough to find at least one positive point in any story. Because of my busy university laboratory schedule, I am unable to do this often, so please do not feel offended if I cannot respond or review as promptly in the manner.

I have written many stories in the past, but none that I have mustered up courage or any sort of pride or faith to share. I am currently working on a drama/romantic/fantasy-esque original piece of work that I would be honoured if you would so take a look. If you feel the need to review to share of any such criticism you may have, that would be fantastic.

And as a final note, I write simply just out of pleasure. I don't plan to get anywhere with this and the thought of ever getting published is preposterous. I write for the sincerity of writing and I never intend to turn it into a big competition or some race to become known. Thanks for stopping by.

Update-02/19/10

I have removed the story Two Moons Apart due to a whole revamping process. I had meticulously written that story two years ago and I have different plans on which direction I wish to steer it towards now. I am currently in the process of re-writing it once again, so it will be re-posted continually as the months of this year go on. I express my deepest gratitude for any of you out there who took your time to take a glimpse at the story; I will put more of myself and sincerity in this re-write.

The Last Summer by KnittingKneedle reviews
“Oh it’s real alright,” muttered Jake bitterly. ”And it’ll get realer. Because this is what happens, Owen. Good things always die. Always. Life snuffs them out so we don’t get too complacent, just so we know who’s in charge.”

Seasoned, old and wise by The Valkyrie's Quill reviews
A poem which recognises the regal ones among us who do so much and yet say so little... but do they really? This is meant to be humorous.

A Prisoner of Hope by Matthew James Current reviews
A poem inspired both by the words of an African Prime Minister, as well as the Blind Guardian song When Sorrow Sang. One of the few poems I have ever gone over and edited before posting here. Hope you enjoy it! I may change it or revise it later.

I came upon your doorstep
A year ago, I went through a journey to let go of something I held onto tediously for too long. I decided to sum it all up in this very disorganized, unconventional, but hopefully, meaningful poem.

The Ballad of Luella reviews
It's not exactly a formal ballad, but it does tell a story. This is a bit of an archaic sounding poem, telling the story of those typical beauties who snare us all in so senseless.

To sleep forever reviews
Sometimes giving into it all can seem so appealing. But after weighing all the beauties of defeat and struggle, staying awake seems to be worth it so much more. A poem inspired by a thought.
