This not-so-secret fictionpress account is dedicated to my girlfriend Dorothy.

Some of these poems date back to before we were offically dating. Each day that we're together my life gets a little brighter and brighter. She is possibly the best thing that's happened to me since I was born.

She is the kind of person that is who she is and doesn't care what people think of her; a quality I have lacked in the past. But now I see some of that strength of character in myself, thanks to her. I used to have really big self-esteem issues, but ever since I met her she has really helped me to see who I really am.

She won't admit that I don't deserve her, but I really don't. She is amazing beyond all words, and the only thing that comes close to expressing how I feel is the poetry on this fictionpress account.

I hope we never loose this spark, only God knows I guess, and I won't deceive myself, afterall we're only in high school, and things do change. But if things don't work out for some strange reason, I want her to know that she has a spot in my heart that will never fade.

We've both had a lot of "firsts" together, and I won't ever forget. All-in-all Dorothy; I love you with all my heart, and this fictionpress is my way of showing you that.

And no matter what we go through, no matter how much trouble we get in, I will never abandon you and leave you out in the cold. I will always be there for you and always stand by your side. You are my everything.
