In terms of age, I'm old enough to know better, but young enough to enjoy writing fan fiction anyway. My stories tend to be child/family-friendly, and usually deal with developing a book or movie's background characters, rather than the main characters.

By the way, "Seldes Katne" is actually the name of a character in a Barbara Hambly novel entitled "Dog Wizard". It's the third book in the author's "Windrose Trilogy", and while it features a number of strange and unusual wizards, it has, alas, no dogs... Seldes Katne is the Librarian at the Citadel of Wizards in this book, which means that she and I share the same occupation.
