The penname oughtta explain it all. I'm Blair and I write. I'm 22 and a girl and I like telling stories. Here are some that I made!

I live in New York (City), which is not as glamorous as it sounds. Day jobs I have had include flower seller, farmer, travel writer, journalist, and receptionist. I have cultivated a very soothing phone voice. I like good coffee and decent-enough whiskey. I like friends but value solitude.

I write best lying on my bed or a sofa. Sometimes I make custom playlists for stories for inspiration, but I only use Pinterest as a way to make me despair for the future of humanity (the world does not need more recipes for cheese dip, people!) Also: am definitely not one of those writers who "writes for herself." I don't have some notebook squirreled away with tons of secrets. That is boring! I like sharing! I write for other people, and that means you!

I've been writing forever but never consistently. I was a member of Romance Writers of America once for two years, which was awesome but expensive. One time I had a short story published in my podunk local paper and made exactly no money. But one other time I met Meg Cabot and she said she liked my hair, so I can die happy.

ALSO! I had some old stuff on this account, but I wrote it ages ago and it was not very well-edited and so I decided to retire it. Maybe it'll come back one day? But only if I can bring it up to snuff. We'll see.
