A night on the town

A prompt per day, a drabble per day. Lyricism and romance and poems and wishing. Some are poetry, some are short oneshots and drabbles. Many are romance, many of the romance is implied ff but is normally not limited to such.

Is it true? Is it true what they say about when you die?

Mommy and Daddy, fighting again.

What is the first moment that a person actually becomes something bad? When is it that we stop being so innocent after all?

When your lover turns into a shadow of herself in your arms.

Mr. Crane running for the kid, flailing, crashing backwards slowly through invisible water, surprise the last thing he’ll ever feel, me the last to see his face this way, truly, before it’s set in a grim smile with roses in his hands.

I hate the nighttime. It’s hard, trying so hard to not acknowledge the elephant in the room: I can’t stand who I’ve become.

But it’s really the longing that makes the loneliness. Not being alone.

When you live for her, dream and wake for her. What it will mean in the end.

Oneshot. So this woman is looking at me from across the café and we both know it.

Short story. The lake; my new home, because the water would mix with my tears, would surround me to hide that there was a person missing at my side, hide the emptiness inside.
