I figured it was time to write up a new profile for myself, not that a whole lot has changed about me.

I’m still indecisive and addicted to postsecret.

I love reading and though I have an ever present case of writer’s block, I still enjoy writing.

Music is my lifesaver, and traveling (which I have done a satisfying amount of in the past 2 years) is still ever so appealing to me.

I’m still in college, incredibly close to that Child Development degree, with plans of becoming a teacher.

The biggest news I have is probably that I’m engaged. It’ll be a long engagement, but it’s exciting nonetheless.

My nephew is now 5 years old, and he’s still one of the most important elements of my life. My niece just turned one, and she’s seriously so beautiful and precious. The two of them mean the world to me, and I can’t imagine life without them. I’m an incredibly proud and lucky auntie.

Life As I Know It

As far as I know, I don’t plan on doing anything with this story. The vague idea of trying to start it back up again has crossed my mind, but I don’t have the time or patience for it, which doesn’t bode well for a well-written story. My sincerest apologies for that.

Running Away

05.08.11: Hard to believe it has been so long since I wrote this story, but I still even get the occasional review about it. I don’t think I’ve ever thanked the reviewers for still having a kind word to say after all this time, so I thank you a dozen times over now. I’m glad people still enjoy it. I still have this wistful hope that I’ll be able to write a sequel one day, but if it ever happens, it probably won’t be for an even longer while.

Knight in Shining Armor

12.04.10: I haven't written or updated a story in ages, but I just thought I'd update this because I'm pretty bummed out. The friend that inspired Ethan is moving to the other side of the country for good. He went to school out there for six years, and when he finished, he did a lot of traveling. He was supposed to move back, and he did for a few weeks, but now, he's leaving me AGAIN. Sad times.

09.01.07: My short story is officially complete! I'm very happy with it and I hope that you'll read it and feel the same.
