Hey y'all, Artie Rayne here! After a ridiculously long hiatus, I am finally making the transition back to FictionPress, starting off by deleting every single thing that I ever posted under this account and starting fresh.

A little about me!

Name: Artemis Rayne, Artie for short.

Age: 21

Occupation: Receptionist and part-time student.

Location: my writing desk whenever I'm not at work.

Likes: chocolate, Harry Potter, music, movies, Power Rangers, sneakers - especially ones with cool colors and designs, painting my toenails crazy colors, sparkly gel pens, Glee, learning random words in foreign languages, Mickey Mouse snow globes, black olives, Pushing Daisies, colorful socks, thunderstorms, Covert Affairs, Seattle, pina coladas, crazy scarves, Haven, blowing bubbles in my chocolate milk, and anything soft, fluffy, or sparkly that I can play with.

Writing: I am mostly a fantasy writer, dabbling in several different subgenres from medieval epic fantasies to modern takes on classic magical myths. Lately I've taken to writing YA stories, mostly comedies with a centric moral. I also occasionally play around with more serious topics, including an in-progress novel called Brotherhood about teenage homosexuality (prologue posted below) or one titled Baby Steps that deals with a teen sport stars sudden paralysis and it's effect on him. There is also a collection of half-written romance novels somewhere in my hard drive that I only work on when I've watched one too many chick-flicks that week.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy!
