Author has written 3 stories for Biography, Sci-Fi, and Young Adult.

Pretty damn funny that Magnetar, a story I've spent 1/100th of the time planning and deveolping compared to the others, is being the most well-received. Maybe I'm onto something. It's definitely a lighter, faster read, almost all dialogue.

I'm almost ready to restart Extra-Ordinary, I think I've finally figured out the right voice for it. So what's up here is coming down soon. I don't think of myself as any kind of revolutionary writer, but I think this idea could help reinvent and expand the Young Adult/Fantasy genre that's become a little too clustered and rigid today. The same few plots.

Look around. Almost everything I see starts from the same couple of flowchart points:
Boy wakes up. "Hey there son, did you walk your dragon yet this morning? Can't go see your elfish girlfriend until you take him out."
Boy wakes up. "Hey there son, it's your 17th birthday! By the way, did your mother and I ever mention that you come from a long line of half-angel vampire demons?"

Why not "Boy wakes up"? Why follow the same outline again?
