Author has written 6 stories for Romance, and Mythology. Hello there! About Me My first language is not English. I know it's not an excuse, but I'm getting better. I write to improve my English, kill time, and have fun. If you're reading one of my stories, I would love to hear what you think, so if you could drop a line or two in the review, I'll be very grateful. Oh by the way, I live on the land down under, Australia, although didn't grow up there. My Posted Stories The Free-Spirited Princess Status: Completed Summary: Obsessed by romance stories between royal and commoner, Princess Irene determined to marry a commoner herself. Her dream was to live in a cosy cottage house with marble kitchen where she could bake chocolate chips cookies. On the day her first commoner crush broke her heart, she met a kind-hearted bartender. She thought he was perfect: a commoner and a poor student who's kind, hardworking, smart, and good looking. He was the typical novel commoner. What she didn't know, he wasn't really what she thought he was. Bartender and poor student were only his cover... Anna & her Prince Charming Status: In Progress Summary: Anna is an ordinary girl until one day someone not so ordinary, the crown prince, fell in love with her. Anna: Princess in Training Status: Completed "Anna: Princess in Training" is the sequel to the above. I think it's much better written (this story gets eight times more reviews than the first one so yeah...). Although a sequel, it can be read on its own. It has its own story. Summary: Anna was an ordinary girl, until one day she fell in love and decided to marry someone not so ordinary, the crown prince. Can she handle the pressure of being the crown princess? What I read I love reading, too. I love reading stories in FP. I like light-hearted romance and cinderella type fairy tales. So if you write one and would like me to read and review, please PM me! I'm no expert in language and writing so all I can offer you in my reviews is what I feel after I read your piece. I don't usually point out spelling or grammar errors because I don't really notice unless I make a point to. What I don't read I get scared easily :P so yeah, I don't read horror stories. I'm also not a big fan of mythology stories (I don't read LOTR or Harry Potters) and anything that involves a whole new other world. But...when there's romance involved, I do make exception hehehe Focus On The Game, Not On The Reward I was talking to my dad few weeks ago and he told me this story. Last Easter, my sister took my seven year old nephew to some fair in a local church ground where kids could play different games. When they won something, they received some coupons. At the end of the day, whoever collected the most coupons, win a prize. My nephew hadn't been lucky until he participated in a mini bowling competition. He managed to knock down all the pins and received eight coupons. The next round, again it was a strike. He became excited and thought he had a good chance to win something at the end of the day. But the third time he wasn't so lucky anymore, he only managed to knock three down. It got worse and worse. He couldn't understand why. He was so good the first two times. He went and asked his mommy, "Ma, how come I don't do so well anymore?" His mom replied, "Because, Son, at the beginning, you focus on the game, but now you focus on the reward." |
